I first started swaying in 2005 with my second pregnancy. First child is a boy so I was ttc a DD. This is what I did:
-ate lots of calcium (yougurt, kefir, cheese, and drank lots of milk)
- took 200 mg of magnesium per day
- took 1,200 mg calcium per day
- cranberry supplements (can't remember the dose)
- drank a ton of Crystal light
- DH did the exact same thing as me
-Shettles method (cut off 3 days before O)
-lime douche before BD
hot shower for DH before BD
Had 2 miscarriages and then pregnant with another DS born 2006.
Try #2 same thing but added
-lime tampon after BD
tested DH semen with the PH tester (can't remember # now, but was in girl range)
pregnant with a DD due in Jan. 2010. (still can't believe, but I've had 3 ultrasounds and all say for sure a girl)
I researched quite a bit here both times, and then stayed off until I figured out the sex. Just wanted to share my tries and thank the contributors and moderators for all their posting and work. I will give you some background that my DH is from a fam of 5 boys 0 girls. 9 of the 10 grandkids are boys, so I had the odds stacked against me. DH just loved it when I packed his 32 ounce thermos of Crystal light for work every day-HA!
