Hi ladies...
I'm in need of input and I'm just venting here...lol!
I'm one of 6 classroom parents. I got a paper note (from one of the parents) stating that we get in touch (by e-mail) to organize the halloween classroom party. So I contact her the same day that I got the note and asked what she would like (or need me ) to bring.
She replies with ....bring whatever you want to bring, and she also lists what the other parents are bringing also.
I noticed that the list has a lot of treats and only 1 person is bringing apple juice. I then reply and tell her that I will bring another non carbonated drink.
She then replies back stating that someone is already bringing apple juice for the entire class and that she thinks that one drink is enough.
Well excuse me! What happened to options? I see that other parents are brining similiar treats...why not say something about that? And if she is sp anal about ONLY wanting to serve ONE drink...THEN why didn't she say so before?!
Uhhhh, so annoyed at her, lol!
I then reply back to her e-mail and tell her that in my opinion, it is always nice for the children to have an option of what they would like to eat OR drink.
I also told her that since my daughter doesn't care for apple juice, that I was going to bring another drink for her then.
She then replies and tells me...Please bring a drink for the entire class.
So, now she's ok with having "options"...lol!
I hate when people try to boss people around (in an indirect type of way) ...which is what I feel that she was trying to do, KWIM?
What should I tell her in response to her last reply...."please bring etc..."
TIA!
