I find I don't have but maybe 3 preemie outfits but I'm hesitant to buy em cause I don't know if A) she's even gonna fit them and B) she's gonna go through them so fast.. I have TONS of newborn-3 months and I just thought I could roll up the sleeves or something in those but I dunno lol. So far she's been on the small side this whole pregnancy (in the 30th percentile) and with 7 weeks left she's 4 lbs so far. I mean she'd have to gain 5 lbs in 7 weeks or so to be a "big baby" imo is that even possible? What did u do?

Almighty Creator,

Hear this prayer and the wishes of my heart. You know my deep desire for a child, a little one to love and to hold, to care for, to cherish. grant that my body may conceive and give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby in Your holy image. Guide me in all my choices so that this conception, my pregnancy and my baby's birth are in line with Your will. Heavenly Father hear this prayer of my heart, mind and spirit.

If I were you I'd just buy maybe a couple more preemie outfits and keep the receipts just in case they happen to be too small so you can return or exchange them. HTH!

I have never bought preemie clothes my dd was the smallest at 7.3 and she outgrew 0-3 quick.  My boys only can wear 0-3 for about 1 week.  You probally won't need preemie unless she comes early.  My gf had twins a month early and they wore preemie.

If you figure, on average, the baby will gain half a pound a week and you have 7 more weeks to go, that will put her at 7.5 pounds- a very average size baby. I wouldn't get any more preemie stuff. My 7 lb. 5 oz baby never needed preemie, just newborn. My 6 lb. 8 oz baby (who lost a lot of weight and gained VERY slowly) did use preemie clothes for about 5-6 weeks. I think you're fine with what you have, just be sure to have newborn (as opposed to 0-3 month) sizes :)

I had a couple and she fit in them for a couple weeks. She was 7lb 12oz. She fit in the NB for at least 2m and 0/3 she just really grew out of at 4.5m.

Avery was 6lbs. 14 oz. 20 in. at birth, and she's 4 wks. old now. In Preemie sizes I had 5 onesies, 2 gowns, 2 sleep and plays, 6 pairs of socks, and 1 cloth diaper.  She's still wearing the onesies, socks, cloth dipe and the 2 gowns. The sleep and plays she only wore for about 2 wks. because she was too long for them. But she's not gained weight well so this is probably why she's gotten so much use out of her preemie stuff. Preemie hats have never fit any of our babies.

Our other babies wore their preemie clothes for 2-3 wks. I like having them though because I hate having a newborn drowning in sloppy huge clothes, sleeves rolled up a million times...lol

My dd was 7.4lbs 20.5 inch at birth. I was told the day before she was born that she was only 5.6lbs, LOL. I ended up buying a few preemie outfits, I think I bought two sleepers and then I had three outfits. She couldn’t wear the sleepers because they weren’t long enough. She did wear the preemie outfits for 2 weeks.
