AMERICAN IDOL

Who else is addicted to it??? This is my favorite show and I am counting down the days for next season...

Last season we had a "hometown idol". Matt Giraud was a performer at the piano bar that I used to go with my friends... He's such a nice and down-to-earth guy! I was voting my fingers off for him to win but that was Adam Lambert's season. Anyway I got to take a picture with him during his homecoming and he even sang "Let's get it on" for me, after I said that was my fave performance. How cool is that?

Season 9 starts only in January 2010!!!! I know, it seems like forever... But at least by then I will have my sweet baby boy to cuddle and watch those hilarious auditions together

YES, I AM ADDICTED TO A.I.!! LOVE IT! Too bad Paula is off, but I think Ellen Degeneres is hilarious! So she should be a good fit! Yes, I am definitely counting down till next season! I am always so sad when it's over! lol We have had many well known idols come from my home state of N.C.! Closest, of course, is none other than Miss Kellie Pickler! LOL I think she is a doll, though!

I wish they would stick with the 3-judge format since last season it seemed that Simon could barely get a word in (and truth be told - who cares about anybody else's oppinion?). Oh I also liked Kelly Pickler even though sometimes I wondered if she was putting on a "show" or she was really that much hillbilly

LOL yeah she annoyed the crap out of me during the first few weeks, but then she kinda grew onto me. I do think some of that was an act, but for the most part I do think she really was that ditsy!! (btw, that's really not a reflection of where she comes from )

 i really was not into AI last season didnt like all the changes,   but will watch this season cause i love ellen.
