Desperate to know . . . Took Intelligender (Updated)

OK . . .  DIdn't want to fall for it but did it anyway. Promised myself to only do one. I am convinced that there is a pH component to it. My pH had been less than 5 but recently I have been so sick I have been drinking only water with lemon and eating bread. Well, when I took the test it smoked and the crystals turned blue. When the crystals settled to the bottom after 10 minutes and I looked at the urine straight on, the urine was clear. My husband and I were confused but thought boy result. I did email the company and just got a response. She said clear urine and dark sediment on the bottom is a girl result!! I am still not convinced but after 3 boys I am clutching onto any hopes of a girl. Anyone else have similar results?

 I also want to point out some of the other symptoms I have:

1.) I am sooo sleepy and I have been sleeping hard. I had insomnia with my boys.

2. )Nausea/morning sickness started at 7-8 weeks with my boys. This time it started almost immediately and has become progressively worse. I am having a hate relationship with food. I can't figure out what to eat but feel better with salad and fish. With the boys, I was nauseous but still ate whatever.

3.) I usually have clear skin. As a teenager I only had the occasional pimple. I am breaking out now but I didn't have this with previous pregnancies.

4.) My hair is oily and flat. With other pregnancies, my hair was really nice.

5.) My second and third pregnancy, I started showing right away. We have been able to keep this pregnancy a secret because I am not showing at all and still wearing regular clothes.

6.) Chest hasn't changed but I was never big.  I breastfed my 3 boys so I don't have much left. 

7.) It might be too early for this one. I had some fuzzy hair growth on belly with last 3 but this time I don't have anything.

8.) Have done predictions: Cheri, Ruby, Brooke, Valerie, Jane Smith (long time ago), ScootieLou say girl. Cosmetic, Roxy say boy (Roxy also said I would have bleeding week 8 - didn't happen). Biorhythms has been right with my boys and is saying girl this time

9.) RIng trick - BBBG. Did it to both myself and DH.

10.) This was a surprise pregnancy. It was definitely from pull out and we are not sure when it happened. We think we may have done it 3 days before I o'd but we never did anything because we had a little one knocking at our door. Even though I was having morning sickness, I didn't know I was pregnant until 1 week after I missed my period and took a test.

11.) Urine is dull and light. With the boys, dark and very yellow.

12.) Heart rate at n/t scan was the same as boys' rates.

 Thanks to anyone who read this!!! What do you think? I am so anxious to know. I am hoping 12 week scan reveals something.

U/s tech is convinced it's a ! She even told us to buy pink. If it turns out differently, she will buy all pink from us. We are so happy! 

Had another scan at 15w 2d. It is a girl!

I think GIRL!!! Very much like my symptoms with my girl pregnancies

BTW I also took intelllingender and got a very strong BOY result, it was VERY wrong i would not put much faith in your results 

What's with the urine thing? Mine changes constantly all day long. In the morning it's dark, in the afternoon it's light, at night it's dark, you get it. Just curious.

Thanks for your responses! I am a nervous wreck and can't concentrate on a daily basis. We were supposed to do MS/PGD/IVF in September and I got pregnant end of August. I even started Lupron after I ovulated. It was supposed to suppress ovulation in Sept. I stopped taking it after I found out I was pregnant.

I didn't take a picture of the test because I was so upset and got rid of it. The sediment and crystals were definitely dark but the urine you could see through at eye level. I received a response back very quickly - 1 day after I wrote in. They said only to look at the urine and not the sediment. Because it is clear, they said it is a girl result. I am not convinced because all the girl results I have seen and the ones posted on their website are orange. Mine was not orange.

I am hoping to see a nub by the end of October. I also wanted to include that my first 2 had heart rates in the 150s but I don't remember at what stage of the pregnancy that was (possibly at the 20 week u/s). Last week, baby's heart rate was 171.

I hope I can continue a trend - 4th baby a girl!

My intelligender result was pretty much the same as yours. The urine had a slight yellow/orange tint and there was dark crystals at the bottom so I emailed intelligender too and they told me it was a girl result. I'm not convinced though, I'm waiting for my big u/s before I believe anything :)

Congratulations!!  That definately look like a !!  I am green with envy!  I was hoping our #4 would be a girl too!!!  But we are excited!!

Hi pinkbean again, just thought I'd come here & see what your symptoms were like compared to mine, the big stand out ones were

1- sleeping hard, cant believe how well I'm sleeping even the night before my CVS & then the next night waiting for the results the next day I slept like a baby, thought I would toss & turn all night

2- I barely noticed I was pregnant with my boys but same as you by week 5 I was so sick to the stomach like I had been poisoned, & it lasted till about 10wks

3- I showed right away with 2nd & 3rd pregnancy like people were rude enough to say last time are you sure you have your dates right?? you look huge for 12wks, & this time I thought being the 4th time around I would be huge but no, I've been able to hide it up to now & I'm still in my jeans, shorts, tops & normal bras

4 - My chest was my biggest give away, with all my boys my boobs changed & got huge by 12wks & I couldnt touch them & was in maternity bras by 12wks, this time as flat as a tack & still in normal bras & no pain, amazing how similar we have been so far

5 - I had predictions done too my favourite was that Jane smith she is so spot on, when I spoke to her last pregnancy she said she feels boys around me like 2 already, & she said the current one I was pregnant with was a boy too, I was crushed but she was spot on, but then she went on to say I do see you going on to have a 4th child ( which at the time there was no way we were ) & this will be your long fored daughter & she will come  2yrs after my 3rd son, & guess what thats exactly how it has all panned out, I think she is amazing

6 - Yes I had the pale urine too & the high HCG levels,

So it is a very similar story I must say & how wonderful it has worked out in our favour this time, YEH

This is so exciting! It's amazing how similar our pregnancies have been! Are you still feeling sick? I am still getting sick but not as bad as I have been. At 14 weeks, I am still very small. Regular clothes are slightly tight and maternity clothes are still a little big. With pregnancies 2 and 3, I was in maternity by 6 weeks!

Right now I have a pretty good confirmation it's a girl but it unlike you, this is based on u/s alone. Although I am considered a "mature" mom. I wanted to just do nuchal screening and if anything suspicious popped up on that, then I would consider an amnio. I had the screening done at 13 weeks 1 day according to u/s but according to dates more like 13 weeks and 2 or 3 days. From what I read, the nub theory is almost 100% accurate at 13 weeks. Also, the tech doing my u/s has about 20 years of experience and she gave me an over 90% chance it's a girl. All the guesses from the u/s board including Charliecats have been girl. So I am 99.9% sure it's a girl. I have an elective u/s scheduled in about 10 days because I am in disbelief and I cannot wait until the 20 week to confirm.

I think it is great that we are going through a similar experience at the same time. I don't know about you but I am nervous about how this can effect my family. I know my husband and I will do our best to make all our children feel special but we are worried about extended family as well as inconsiderate friends and even strangers making comments directly to our children. We as adults can defend our children but I don't know how my boys will feel if they are made to feel that their sister is more special than they are.
