The reason babies don't walk straight out of the womb is to give parents a bit of a break. Hell, they are enough work as it is. Who the heck wants to chase after them too in your sleep deprived coma state.

OMG I thought I was the only one with lazy babies. Mine were exactly the same.

Madison walked on her knees (in a standing position) for a long time, I guess she didn't need to walk in her eyes. LOL  Evan was born when she was 16 months old so I was a bit worried she was never going to walk and I had to carry them both everywhere :)

I know what you mean, I was worried dd was never going to crawl let alone walk. She would scoot everywhere on her butt. Babies are so funny with their personalities. I have never known another baby that scooted. Everywhere I took her people just laughed at her. And she was fast too. I never had to carry two though so I feel for ya.
