Maybe I'm going to sound like a horrible person but....
WHAT THE BLOODY HELL was that Mother thinking taking her hands off her buggy WITHOUT putting the brakes on first?! And how the Hell did she NOT notice the buggy was rolling towards the edge whilst she was fiddling with her damn clothes?????
Thank God that poor baby survived. The outcome of her actions could have been so very, very different. I know we all make mistakes but that is one she'd have NEVER forgiven herself for (infact probably still won't!) if the outcome had been different. She must have been so shocked and scared and pissed off with herself.... I just can't even imagine the guilt she must be feeling right now. I bet she uses her buggies brakes in future.
I'm paranoid about brakes. I once saw a buggy roll into the road and get hit by a car (I was about 8 years old) and it has stuck in my mind ever since. Thankfully there wasn't a baby in it, the baby was walking (well throwing a tantrum) and the mother couldn't hold onto both at the same time so opted to let the buggy go... But still, the buggy was completely mangled. The amount of times I see parents let go of their buggies in silly places or stand there and watch as it begins to roll away from their grasp... MAJOR meltdown topic for me! LOL You may have noticed!!!
