I have a lot more fun shopping for my kids...I don't have to try anything on, look at myself in bad changing room lighting, get depressed when nothing fits.  I love coming home with stuff for my kids.  I don't know why that makes me so happy, but it does.Confused Huh?Happy

I'd rather shop for my kids.  I have self-esteem issues where my body and appearance is concerned and HATE buying myself clothes.  My weakness tends to be shoes (I call them hooker shoes cos I love flashy high heels, even though I never have any opportunity to wear them!) and kids clothes.  Other than that I hate shopping and avoid it whereever possible!

That's my answer too!  Especially the part about nothing fitting! (or finding things that fit, but hating the size on the tag!)

ME! (X 100)

The boys could give a rat's ass about clothes.

Me, on the other hand....  I could have an orgasm in the Nordstrom shoe department.

I love shopping, love shopping for myself, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE shopping for my kids, especially my younger 2.  my older two aren't into toys so much anymore and IMO clothes aren't as fun to buy for them.  but I'm currently birthday shopping for DS3 and it's just fun!  although he's a little difficult in a way because all he wants is monkeys and that's getting challenging!

my dd of course loves clothes,so does ds2.  Ds1 used to not care but this year he's all about brand names...no more walmart for them:(  it's begining to get expensive but fun.  I only buy things on sale or clearance.  I'm a great bargain hunter.

Well, kids are easier, but they have more clothes than I do-thanks to MIL. If they needed something, I would rather shop for them than myself. I like sewing for them more too-cute dresses.

I love shopping for clothes period!   And really can't decide.   hmmm....probably a little bit more for me, because I have learned that rarely do the clothes look as cute on my kids as they did on the rack.   However, gymboree or Crazy 8 clothes are super fun and always look cute!   So, when I am happy about my size/weight and the way I look then for me.   Other times...for them

The kids.. by far!   I, too, hate shopping for myself... usually I have the kids with me so I have to haul them into the handicap changing room, and nothing ever fits and it is so annoying.

But with the boys..  I can just grab at 2t and 4t and know it will fit... and so it's easier to bargain hunt.

I guess I'll like shopping for myself when I'm not pregnant, skinny again (if that ever happens) and DH will watch the kids for a few hours (less likely to happen then me getting skinny Happy ROFL)

Hee hee I'm with MissysLair - when I'm skinny (if I'm skinny lol) again after being pregnant I'll probably enjoy shopping again. I love buying for my DS more though cos I get to see his wee happy face light up when I tell him he's got a present. Also everything looks super awesome for him and I don't have to worry about him not fitting. I think I'm much more vain about what my wee boy wears and looks like than what I'm turned out in. I did have a nice wee super skinny phase after having DS and breast feeding him when I dropped a stone from my pre-pregnancy weight - that was really fun to go shopping then and wear all the skimpy clothes I'd never had the guts to wear before. Lol. Here's hoping that happens again.
