I looked for that yesterday in the health food store and they didnt have it.

I spoke with a llc consultant and she recommended me getting a nursing supplementer. Do any of you know of someone who has used one?

I went to the health food store and bought some mothers milk tea. What can I use besides honey to sweeten it?

Oh good, I'm glad you found some. :) I use 1/2 a packet of Sweetleaf Stevia- it's all natural, zero calories, and won't raise your blood sugar. I love Stevia. Most grocery stores have it in the Organic aisle or by the sugar. I usually order mine from Amazon:

Here's a good herbal remedy I've used too for increasing supply:

I haven't known anyone who tried a supplementer, but here's a few articles about them.  After reading through them I wish the Ped. would've mentioned this for Avery instead of going straight to the bottle. :( She's still not good at the breast since she's so used to the bottle now... ughh this nursing stuff is rough huh?! lol

I'm probably a little late chiming in but I had some real "supply" issues in the first two weeks of life (Ari will be 3 weeks on Monday) and I was told about fenugreek by some ladies and my midwives. I started taking fenugreek (like 12 capsules a day. 4 3x's daily) and it has literally done wonders! Granted...it makes your breastmilk smell like maple syrup... strange as that may be it's totally worth it. I order my fenugreek from swansonvitamins.com it is only 1.99 a bottle (100 capsules) and they deliver pretty promptly. Totally reputable, I've been ordering from them for years.

Note: It took me about 3 days of taking the fenugreek regularly before I noticed any difference in my supply.
