advice please....

I have posted this in a different forum but thought i'd get your ladies advice too....
Well I was all set to ttc in December, due to O somewhere around the 7th when I read a post on hear and decided to purchase a planbaby.com girl calendar. Now i wish i hadn't as there were no dates for Dec. However it did say girl for 7th Nov and I am due to O about the 10th Nov. So my Q is, shall I go for it in Nov on the 7th, even though I haven't really been doing the diet 100% ( only just really started and have cut out the big no, no's) or shall I stick with Dec and ignore the planbaby advice. AAAArrrrgggghhh.....i'm so confused.
Please advise xx

we bought a calendar (babybygender.com) also and October and November are the same for us the girl days are a few days before ovulation. december doesn't fall anywhere near ovulation. If you use the calendar and the shettles method you should try for the few days before ovulation. I was due to ovulate on Oct 16, Baby girl calendar favorable days were starting the 12-15. Shettle suggest baby dance 2-5 before o. So we tried on the12 and 14. Positive OPK on 16 and 17, Positive saliva ovulation test on 18. so now we just hope for the best. But I know at this rate it may take a few months. Your calendar didn't tell you how many girl days fell in each month before purchase. Ours had a line above each month said 4 boy days 12 girls days for example, so you buy the months that most interest you. Hope something helps. Good luck I would go for it you may still be trying in december.

I was at another room in the kits and calendar and under biorhythms and I thought of your post, I checked it against my calender and it seems to work out the same , and you can check yours and dh biorythms for free, I hope this helps, I stole the rest of this from some elses post to share with you

look at your o date to see where the emotion and physical lines connect
on the chart.
To read the chart: a positive line is a line above the line and a negative line is below the center grid line.
* Girl = + Emotional Line (over line) and - Physical line (negative is under line)
* Lean Girl = both Emotional and Physical are negative at the target
* Boy = -negative Physical Line and -negative Emotional Line
* Neutral - as I understand it is when the lines are crossing the center of target date.
* Ideally both dh and you are in girl energy (ttc girl) or boy energy (ttc boy).

Ahh thanks babyxx4, that's really nice of you - I really appreciate it. I find the biorythm chart a little hard to read ( i know it sounds simple!) but have looked again. it does say girl but when I checked my other dd she was concieved in + physical and - emotional not sure what that's supposed to mean. Do you? Dh and I have been talking and I think we might give it a go in Nov anyway, but use TBM just for that month. At least than we're not missing it out altogether.

What is TBM? I do not know what that means but my three boys were all concieved in what looks like a girl phase, so I think Tamara may be on to something with the tose the calendar. I will still read along with trying to observe what supplements to use, I don't think I can do the diet, or the douching, I don't know if I could get that right that seems much to confusing to me. good luck Like I said I don't know about the bio rhythms I clipped from another post but I did find it easier to read when I printed it out the chart.

TBM is from the extreme gender swaying and is the turkey basting method. basically you mix dh's sperm with lime and reinsert. It's supposed to be quite a bit more successful than swaying in general.
I am on the diet but struggling and I do want to douche. We'll see, can't believe i might try in 2 weeks or so. Are you going to ttc in Nov too? x

I will have to look into that we tried last month and no luck, with the shettles, I get bad gestional diabetes from day one of pregnancy so I can't restrict my food before also, it is hard enough for nine months and my family is picky. I just don't think I understand the douching enough, I am going over there right now to read up and be ready for next month. Talk soon good luck

For #3, I bought the calendar, followed it for a girl. Got a boy. Very happy for our son but will never waste money again:)

Thanks for thinking of me babyxx4. We did indeed have our attempt. I O'd yesterday and we ended up with a 1.5-2 day cut off via TBM. I never got a +opk this month, I have no idea why as I was testing 3 times a day but I had my temp rise today so I presume I did O. Now the dreaded 2ww....I will keep you informed. When is your attempt?

How can a calendar work? seems like rubbish to me, I would stick to your O dates and work around it, good luck, trouble is we are suckered into the fact that if we dont do everything and we dont get what we want we might live to regret it, the reality is if you had sex normaly lived your life normally your chances are probably just the same so dont feel guilty. x

Good luck to you on your long wait. It seems so far away 2 weeks. We will try sunday and Dh goes away early monday, supposed to o on tues or wednesday. Moon is new on monday. I have been taking cal, mag, cranberry, and trying to follow diet guidelines. Ya know more calicium, less caff, and low sodium. My Ph seems to be in the right range, but will follow bd with lime, and lime tampon. I hope it works, my sister just found out she is preg,and i am so jealous. Keep in touch I will keep checking back

I'm not sure I understand the directions...
lean girl = negative emotional and physical lines
boy = negative emotional and physical lines
aren't these the same thing? I am trying to look at August 2009. During my conception date, both lines are negative. Does this mean that I'm to assume girl or boy??? Please clarify! Thanks!
