Which girl name do you like best? Also give me your suggestions!

 I had to reply being that I have my own Ella, well really it is Mariella (but we call her Ella quite often). The Mariella we pronounce Maryella I just spelled it with an "i" because my Mom's name is Mary Loretta and for some reason in my crazy pregnancy mind I thought it would be different than my Mom's b/c of the spelling (whatever). Anyhow I loved the name Ella, never thought of it as being common, in fact I don't hear it much. I just wanted another M name because my first is Mariah, another dumb pregnancy thing had to have 2 "M"names. However sorry to ramble back to your question I LOVE LOVE your choice of Ella Marie as a first name I think it is really beautiful, or even Ella Sophia I like too. Not to mention my name is Marie, but that is not the reason for the me choosing it. Very Cute I like Ella Marie, hope you choose it. However they are all pretty...I just love the name Ella.

I've only met one Mariella and she was just the cutest thing ever.  I think, since you're worried about Ella being too popular (I can't even tell you how many Ella's I know), then Mariella is a fabulous choice. And, then you can still call her Ella if you want to, but she won't be one of 5 Ella's in her K class.
