his cold isn't getting any better. The dr said that the baby (baby is 9 months) has a lot of mucus in the back of his throat, so give him Adult robitussin 0.4 ml three times a day for five days. I don't know if I feel comfortable giving him the adult formula since he is only 9 months. What would you do?

Your doc told you this advice, and gave you the proper dosage. I would assume that he knew best.
The adult formulas, by the way, are just more concentrated than the kids formula. Same stuff.
He isn't the usual doctor I see and I thought that cold meds were not recommended for babies. Okay, thanks for the reply, I am going to try it and see how it goes.

I think you are wise to be wary (and I work in the health and medical field so tend to trust doctors). Trust your intuition. In NZ they are just changing prescribing cold and cough remedies from 2 years to 6 years because of side effects. I think you should get a second opinion before you go ahead.
and and no longer hoping but have a full-term
