Now I'm torn...

I came back here to reread all of the egs things again...and the su doesn't seem too difficult...my husband thinks it all sounds nuts..but this is our absolute last shot at a girl...and high tech is absolutely not an option for us...how long does it usually take to get pregnant using the su method?  Can you do this as many times as you'd like in a month?  I'm really torn now if I want to sway with just diet and supps or if I want to try this instead now...eeek...tough choices!

yes it is a hard choice!  Maybe ask the girls in the buddy group these questions?  It took me 16 month ttc with msu

 How often did you attempt the msu?  Did it take you long to conceive with your other children?  I just know my husband will not go for something that is going to take that long...he basically said he will try for 1-2 months swaying and then after that he's done with diet and everything else and will only try w/out all of that...so I'm really nervous!

That's what I thought :(...hope I get preggo quickly though, I'm trying in May and only have until Sept. to get preggers ...not doing EGS, but still it could take a while just like the other PP say

When I first looked at the EGS I said no way it seems took complicated. Then I read it again a couple times and doesn't seem that hard. It is what I am planning on doing. I beleive that you can do it as many times as you would not doing the EGS. Like for me ttc a boy I will probably only do it once or twice a month. I am not ttc a girl though so don't listen to me.

well, technically I have until whenver, but I would "like" to get pregnant by September because by October it's already fall here and that sways more towards boy...honestly though, If I don't get pregnant by sept. I'm just gonna skip Oct. and keep on trying after that...will need to take a break from diet and supps anyway.  I talked it over with my Dh and he also agrees..wait it out until May but then the waiting is over...just try until I get pregnant :0)

Well, I have been doing EGS/SU/TBM for 9 months now...onto my 10th month if AF shows tomorrow, which I am sad to say is probably coming!!!  The EGS is really not too hard once you do it....what is hard is having to do it month after month after month!!!  Then you just get so over it and burned out...then sad because you are not pregnant...then wonder if it is going to even work....That is why a lot of women start out doing EGS, then slowly but surely decide that they are NOT getting pregnant, so they drop things and EGS is usually the first to go.  I on the other hand have thought about it......BUT, I really want a girl....REALLY WANT a girl!!!!!!  So, I am trying to be ever so patient with this, but I can say my time is running out!!!  My dh only wants a few more months at this, then he want to call it quits for good!!!  I am just praying to god this this happens for me and soon!!

So, with that said.....just be prepared that it could take some time, but you could also be one of the ones that get preggo the FIRST time TOO!!!   Just know ahead of time that and stay relaxed because that seems to keep pregnancy from happening, being stressed (and also stress sways boy)!!!!  Good luck!!!
