SU/MSU Experimenters Buddy Group Oct. 2009

 Hope you guys don't mind me chiming in here...trying to decide if I want to try SU or do just diet and supps...I'm sooo torn between them...wondering how long you girls have been ttc using SU method?  Is it really hard to do everything with the egg white and temps and ph and everything?  It's so overwhelming...I just don't know what to do...it's my absolute last shot at a girl..thanks ladies!

 Good luck to all of us TTC in October! I'm getting ready for my first attempt. I'm thinking of practicing SU soon, this may be a dumb question but how do you put EW in the test tube? Do you just pour it in on top of the semen or do you use a pipette or what?

Some ladies on here have been trying for about six months but people do get PG. Its hard to get it to work right as well. Try to experiment and then you will see what it involves so maybe that would help you make your mind up? I am not sure this will definatly give me a girl at the end, but its route I have chosen so I am happy with that. You need to do what you think is right for you. You don't have to spend a furtune to try a few experiments. Just a test tube a egg and a water bath to see if you can get a float first (a microscope would be good though) I find the float is the hardest part to get to work. GL and ask any questions you need xx

You need to pippette it on top carefully or it may sink! I think some girls let it run down the side of the TT?? I place mine carefully on the top GL!

I really hope my cycle starts to make sense soon, i started bleeding again at what i thought was cd12! and have been bleeding heavy since then for 8days  now!! so goodness knows. I had some strong okp 3 days before i started bleeding but didn't actually ovulate.I'm so down about it all. Have no idea when i'll ovulate again. xx

 Anna - what a pain that is, it will sort itself out in the end, its just annoying for you having to wait! Hope you're ok. So you are still going to ttc in the winter months then, what about the moon phases do you do that or not?

I'm going to buy a kiflow neg ion bracelet, does anyone else wear one? What other things can I buy to make the ions better?

Hi everyone, tonight we had a practice su attempt after finally making our incubator and I'm so disappointed as the egg whites sank feel really frustrated as planning our attempt in a few weeks. I have read in the faq you have to make a sugar solution, has anyone done this?
