November HRC girls

I had my ultrasound with Dr. Potter this morning.  My follicles are growing in two different groups -- darn them!  I have 12 on my right side and 5 on my left.  The first group of them is ready to go and the other group could use a few more days.  He says we need to get them out now so I will trigger tonight for retrieval on Friday.  Hopefully at least half of the 17 will be mature and good quality.  I just wish I had all 17 to work with.  Here's to hoping the third time is the charm!

9:28am...  lori just called. out of 26 eggs retrieved, 21 matured, 20 fertilized normally. 

Think Pink, fingers crossed here too, hoping that you have a good number and quality.

anyway...  got 26 eggs today. 

Out of the seventeen follicles, Dr. P was only able to get 10 eggs!  Darn it.  That is the least I have ever had to work with thus far.  I'm also feeling worse this time than I have in the past.  Normally, I sleep for a bit back at the hotel room and then am up and ready to go out to dinner that evening.  Today I'm feeling really gassy with quite a bit of pain.  I have also had some episodes of light headedness and nausea. 

Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies.  We feared that only about half of the 17 follicles would contain mature eggs, now we are looking at quite a few less.  I will update as soon as I know more.

 Tiger Ling - I hope you are feeling better today and your ET is still a go.  Keep us posted.  I sure hope the symptoms I am having are not related to OHSS.  I better send my dh out for some French fries to be on the safe side.

bbbaby - I hope your FET went well.  Update us when you get a chance -- I would love to hear how many of your boys are currently on board.

OK, so I am back, on my bedrest in the hotel in Laguna Beach, and here is my update: Out of my three frozen boys there were two who made it to the next round. One was excellent quality (grade A) and the other one a bit waker (grade C). I transfered them both. Honestly, I couln´t hope for the better outcome. We did not need to be making decisions in the case that all three would thaw, that was our concern. Dr. Potter gave ma about 50% chance for pregnancy, which is not bad. I am really happy at the moment. Also, both, Dr. Potter and Lori were so great. Lori recongnized me immediately (she saw me last time nearly 5 years ago!!) and gave me such a warm welcome. Dr. Potter also took his time to disscuss with us all we needed to know. After my FET, I stayed there for about an hour and then we drove straight to Laguna Beach.

Think Pink, I hope you get better soon and I think that 10 eggs is not bad at all! When is your transfer date? Good luck to all November girls, let us stay in touch!

 I'm thinking of you and praying that all ten of your eggies fertilize.  Remember, it is quality, not quantity.  Get your butt back here soon with a baby or two on board and treat me to a burger and onion rings while we discuss babies................. 

I got my fertility report yesterday but was flying back home so I was unable to update you all.  Things aren't looking too good this time... Out of my 10 eggs retrieved, 9 fertilized, but only 6 were growing yesterday.  This is the least amount I have ever had to work with at this stage.  I requested an update on day 3 to see how many will be undergoing a biopsy.  Keep your fingers crossed for me!  I will update again tomorrow.  If all goes well, I will take back off on Tuesday for a transfer on Wednesday.
