October Girls Roll Call

Here is an update on me...

This morning was my first ultrasound at my RE's clinic.  I did some local montitoring, and then am in Chicago for my ER this week.  Well, having two different people look at and measure everything has been a little frustrating.  I still have 10 eggs measuring 10 or greater, but the biggest ones have not been growing at a rate of 2/day.  She said that it may be that they have slowed in their growth, OR that there is a different person/machine measuring them.  The 'slowing in growth' comment devastated me.  I have been chuggin' right along here, and then this matter of fact comment brings me to a screeching halt!  I am hoping/praying this is not the case.  I think it was at 15.5.  She measured a 13 on Wednesday.  My lining was a 10.5 which was "perfect".

SO, now my ER looks like it may be on Tuesday or Wednesday, and my DH tells me he has a meeting he ABSOLUTELY cannot get out of on Wednesday.  Do any of you know someone that used the FROZEN sperm sample?  DH is in the alcoholic beverage business, and had a night out before giving his sample.  UUGH - drunk spermies!  I think I may put up a post on this one....

I only have 10 eggs today above a 10, and I am day 10 of stims.  Can more happen?  Is there a chance there can be more?  I am almost 39 and worry about quality

I am sorry but I don't remember. Are you doing MS? If you are fresh is definitely better.

Thanks for the response guys.  Steffani - I think we found a way to get around it for a fresh sample.  He is going to have to fly in, and the ER would be in the afternoon instead of the morning.  More later....

Stacey - you have SO MANY good looking eggs that are coming along so nicely, I wouldn't worry.  Look at your lining fiasco.....thought it was too high, and in reality, it turned out ok.  I think these Dr.'s offices know what they are doing....I think if they were concerned, they would have had you trigger now to get all those nice eggs out.  You have A LOT of them, and many of them are already maturing.  Sounds like they are trying to get your E2 down.  Next ultrasound on Sunday?  Mine is then.  I am just glad I don't have a Monday ER...that would mean a HALLOWEEN ET.  I would hate to miss Halloween with my boys

I used frozen sperm and I got a bfp :)

All that do is make them a little slow so have to use icsi, but icsi also get more eggs fertilized.

Just to let you know it looks like it will be a BFN for us this time.  I don't have my bloods until Tuesday Aust time (Mon US time) but I have accepted that it is all over for us.  I had serious cramping to start with (which I hoped was implantation cramping), then spotting (which I hoped was just old blood) but since then I've had redish blood and constant BFNs on HPTs.  So I know this is not happening this time.

We have 4 frozens left but still we had our hopes pinned on this cycle as these were the best quality so it's pretty diappointing all round really as I doubt the other 4 will go very well if these didn't. 

Oh well, what can you do?

One ? about the bleeding though. I have had cramping too and I talked to HRC because I never get cramping at my period (they said it is probably the PIO shots) and Lori said I will not get a period while on the progesterone. Are you sure your bleeding is a period? Does everyone get a BFP by your time?

Yes, you can bleed while on progesterone. I started spotting 8-9dp5dt and it stopped and then didn't start again until 3 days after I stopped the shots. I think the cramping everyone feels is from all of the instruments being crammed up us! I have never felt any kind of implantation anything with my other 3 pregnancies so I don't know why I thought I might with my cycle! There has been a lot of activity with your ovaries, transfer, etc so cramping is going to happen no matter what probably. 

ETA- By 8-9days pt, yes, most will see a BFP by then. I think she is 8 or 9 days past.

Yeah I'm 9dp5dt.  The bleeding is not like a real period/not as much - some brownish some redish but it's definitely more than just spotting (sorry if that's too much info!).

Feeling quite gutted.  Trying to be positive about the wonderful things I have in life but still ...

Oh that makes sense. Well I am sorry Kiwidreamer.

The PIO shots suck for me. I didn't have any side effects from the stims or Lupron but the progesterone is making me cramp. Esp in my pelvic area even through my thighs a little. It is also wiping me out. I am not a napper and I have been napping for 2 hours a day when my son does.

I would love to think it is 2ww preggo signs but after scouring the board it looks like these are typical for either BFP or BFN.
