Does anyone else look at the hospital online pictures of babies?

Or am I the only one?  I like to look at the baby pictures and see the babies.  Some are darling and some make you so thankful yours are cute .  I also like to look at their names.  I have seen some very strange names.  Some are spelled strangely and others aren't really names.  Here are some that I've found:

Havoc
Chosen
Eden (for a boy)
Ammi Lynnda
Kyecen
Brair
Kaine
Atreyu (I was thinking he must be ethnic of some sort but his middle name is Cameron and was blonde so the name didn't fit)

Anyway, I just thought I'd share.  I can't really share the things I find like this with anyone IRL because no one knows we're trying to have a baby.  I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Yeah, I sometimes look. I was looking way back when I was first pregnant checking the ratios of girl to boy. I recently came across a baby girl this weekend at worked named Cincere.  And Havo is horrible! Did that person not know what Havoc is???

I LOVE reading the birth announcements!!! I am addicted to names and what is the new and cool name out. I could name a dozen more kids! Lol too bad I wouldnt' want to raise them haha!

The above names the ones I DON"T hate are

Ammi (don't care for Lynnda)

Brair (even though it makes me think Brair Rabbit I don't hate it kind of can picture a modern kid with this name... boy or girl LOL although I prefer it for a BOY)

Kaine (dn't like the spelling though I prefer Kane but they probably changed it because of the bible thing)

Havoc and Chosen are just weird.

Kaine is just the name of the "bad" brother.  It just has a bad conotation with it.  Why start the kid off with a negative.  Almost, but not quite as bad as naming them Lucifer.

I looked on the 365 website daily when I was pregnant.  There are some strange names huh?  One I saw was Couture! What is wrong with people???

Havoc?!? What?!? What kind of name is that?? And I thought Atreyu was ethnic too, until I read what you wrote...hmmmm. I like Eden though, that's cute.

I don't like looking at pictures of baby's because it makes me want to hold mine...and I still have 10 more weeks Then when I'm not pregnant it makes me want to have another one. LOL

 Sometimes they post them in the local paper and the names are getting crazy.17 years ago when I looked in the paper at my little brothers pic there was a baby girl beside him named Suzy Q. I thought that was cute.

I kind of like Atreyu but I don't think I could name my baby that. On the same note as "the neverending story" I liked the name Auryn for a girl but I didn't want it pronounced the same as that amulet in the movie it's pronounced Oren, I wanted Ahh-rynne.

I've been seeing "Jareth" alot lately and I think that's pretty cool. Havoc is not a name one should be giving a child if you ask me. I think kids live up to the meanings of their names.

Thanks! My husband seen it in some video game he was playing one night and suggested it.  I've only heard of one other girl being named that and I wanted to give her a name no one else around had. We couldn't decide on a name forever and what I liked he hated, and what he liked I hated.so I kind of settled at first then I fell in love with it.  He wanted big, huge hard to prounounced names like Nomalera, Cortana etc.

Yup.. I'm pretty sure the author (Michael Ende) made the name up for the book.  Atreyu is the secondary protagonist, and his name means something like "son of all".  I totally  the Neverending Story when I was little.. (it's soo cheesy rewatching it now though)
