went to doctor - only dilated to 2.5cm 75% effaced and had high blood pressure so he's letting me be induced tomorrow morning 5am... im really nervous as this is my 1st unnatural labor... we'll see, he thinks I'll go fairly quickly as my cervix is good and ripe...

 Well, I had a doc apt today too....

Big Sigh...  No progress...baby still breech.. Now the doc says... C-sec set for 21st, but wanted to see me on Monday...last week he said he'd prolly do the section on Monday (my birthday)...I'm sooo bummed!

Bad timing...c-section Friday, school starts for my boys on Monday..one of them will be having his first day ever (Kinder)...I can't miss that.  I thought if I'was going this Monday...7 days later I could still be there for his first day!  Now I may  not even be home yet!  I'm soooo bummed.

I hoe to go in Monday and beg him...

On a side note...I had a ton of contractions, so they hooked me up..off the charts and very regular...but doc says doesn't mean anything.  Since baby is breech he's not baring down on my cervix making it soften and open.  It's tightly closed!  I can't beleive all those strong contractions are doing something for me!!!!

I went for my appt. today.  I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced.  I know it's not much but I am excited!

I am glad that you have made some progress! Now if we can just get these late august babies out LOL

I feel your pain.  My sons first day of kindergarten is this Friday.  I was due last Thursday and my Doc wants to induce this week....

I am devasted that I will miss the 1st day of kindergarten!!!

I'm in the same boat....took the happy right out of me!  I never thought I'd still be pregnant....I'm glad to be, don't get me wrong.  Both my boys start school Monday...meet the teacher is Friday.  I'm big into being involved at school and will miss all of it.  I am set up for a c-section Friday morning....will possibly not be home till Monday (after their first day)...and what hurt the most is my kinder baby (ds#2)....my baby's first day of school EVER and I will miss it.  It breaks my heart! 

With that said... I had my doc apt today...begged him to do it sooner.  Nope!!  Nothing happening and hospital rules... I am tightly closed, breech, big and no signs of labor.  Soooo he will do c-section Friday morning!  Seems like forever...but I knwo it will be here fast!

I can't wait to meet him....and so ready to not hurt all the time!  Every once of me aches in pain....

I hope you have a fast and speedy 4 days lucky mom!  I feel every ache and pain that you do.....we are almost there (at least that is what I keep telling myself). 

I have an appointment today so I am hoping for the "OMG!  You should be at the hospital because you are so effaced and dilated!".  But that never really happens........sigh.

Mee too...much good luck for you today... I thought of you yesterday and wondered how you were doing.... 

Funny enough...my doc walks in to examine me and I looked at him real serious and said..."I AM PRETTY SURE I AM DILATED TO A 3 TODAY.....OKAY (WINK WINK WINK)'.... lol 

It didn't freaking work! lol I kept saying come on ...the hospital isn't going to check me, they'll never know! lol

Ha!  You are so funny!  I just might try that too!   I mean come on...this is our THIRD one.  We really don't need to go through all of the hoopla of real labor, rush to the hospital, sit around for 12 hours, thing again, do we?  We know you've got the means to get this kid so just do it!!

I'll give an update later....not expecting much though.

Well, I guess I'm still 2-3 cm, 50% effaced but baby is at -1 station.....  My doc did strip my membranes for me (yowee!) and I went for a long walk.  I really hope this works!!
