trying out tbm

so we did some dry runs of tbm. I got hubby to give his sample in a small sauce cup from a restaurant that we had in the kitchen. This is now going to be our sperm catcher..LOL We ended up dropping about 12 drops to make it a pH of 4. After i sucked it up just to see how much and there was just over 3mL is that too little of a sample?  Is 12 drops too many? We plan on doing this in a little over 4 weeks from now for a o+12 with him obstaining for 14 days. I am going to try what the others have said and funnel them down using a dropper. Now my silly Q. about how many sec would you micrwave the lime to get it to body temp? I am much better with exact directions...it was so hard to just do drops until it reached the pH of 4. ...LOLOL

dont microwave it.  it will break down the lime.  warm it in hot water (like place the platic lime holder in a hot sink)

That is exactly the same as us! And DH will be thrilled when I tell him its a huge sample!

I kept the lime in a syringe and held it under my arm for a while to get it body temp. HTH

Well I havent tired it yet... but my plan was to just take a medicine dropper and maybe have hubby cut the end so its just a tub right to the goal..LOL They i think we were thinking of pouring it right in. I dont know we need to see if it pours well or not. I figured with my last son we had him do it so shollow  that A TON didnt even make it in... and yet i got pregnant first try. So i just want to try and pour it in as others have said. We need to pratice that step.

thanks for the hint to make it body temp. I think i will place the glass bottle in warm to hot water to take the chill off then place in under my arm pit... all while i am holding the small cup and towel so there isnt too much of a mess..yes nice picture i know. Hubby said it isnt too romanic.
