Feeling sad about not being pg anymore!

 I miss being pg already! I know I don't want anymore ANY time soon, if at all. We aren't doing anything permanant, because that is just how we are and may decide we want another in a few years. I thought people were crazy for missing being pg on my May board, but sheesh! I get teary eyed looking/lurking on all the new pg boards and those who are about to have another little one. I thought I cherished the pg, but maybe I will just always feel this way. I just need to for once go LONGER than 2y before being pg again. That would be Heaven..then maybe this feeling will pass for ONCE!

See this is why I am so emotional right now.  Everyone thinks I am crazy but every time I give birth I instantly miss being pregnant and labor and delivery. And this is my last baby.  Doesn't help that this pregnancy has flown by either. :(  I know exactly how you feel.  I want to meet my daughter of course but I am in no huge hurry to not be pregnant anymore.

I totally felt this way after having DS1 and couldn't wait to fall pregnant again it was a very overwhelming feeling.  I couldn't look at pregnant girls and think "ha ha ha I'm all by with" lol  I would feel "it's so unfair" and feel so jelous lol.

I was actually worried that I would be addicted to having children because of the way I felt but after having DS2 I feel complete and conten and shocked that I feel this way.

I miss it too and I do get jealous when I see pregnant people. Like Danyel, I also miss the labor and delivery part too. I am surrounded by pregnant people at work too.

Me too!  and it has now been 12 weeks since Liliana was born but I get so sad still as DH is adamant that we are not having any more.  I have talked to women of all ages and they say that feeling never goes away even when you are in your 50's and 60's!!  not very reassuring I know, but at least we know that we are not crazy! 

I even get sad at how quickly she is growing up and how long ago the birth was, I don't want it to drift off into the distance and forget it.
