I am not a neat freak, at all.... exept when it comes to my kitchen.  I have to have it clean all the time, or I can't stop thinking about it until I clean it.  It's spotless all the time.  I get grossed out if it's dirty.

My living room is always full of toys, blankets, pillows, stuffed animals.  They don't get picked up everyday.

My laundry piles up.  I wash all the laundry, but when it comes to putting it away Yuck   I have piles of clean clothes in baskets all over the house.  Doesn't bother me.

Anyone else??

I am so clean it's borderline obsessive. Yuck It's all i think about when I am home.  When I was on bedest was the worst, I would just stare at whatever was dirty and by the time DH came home I could barely stand it.  Luckily, he was "pretty good" at cleaning.  I about went in labor a few weeks ago because I could no longer stand it and scrubbed everything on all 4's :(  I get this from my mom.

I am by no means a neat freak either! But first off my bathroom has to be clean. Can't stand it if is not. Then secondly the kitchen area. The rest of the house is clean but messy at times and I am ok with that. Too hard to control the cyclonesStick out tongue that drift threw my house every other minute to worry about complete spotlessness.  Happy Wink

My kitchen has to be spotless at all times, I can't sleep if there are dirty dishes in the sink, it drives me crazy! I like my bedroom clean too, but it's not always as clean as I'd like it to be. I hate cleaning bathrooms, so I leave that to DH. I try to keep the girls' room picked up as much as I can but they have soo much stuff in such a little place it's pointless.

Kitchen and living room.  Our bedroom is probably the most neglected, I guess because no one really sees at and we're usually asleep when we're in here, lol.  I used to be a nut when it came to cleaning but it got to the point I wasnt enjoying my kids, just yelling all the time like a crazy woman about the house and running around all frazzled.  I have to keep telling myself that it is okay if things are a little messed up, like toys are out.

I have a formal Living room, and formal dinning room.  Those are the first rooms off the foyer that visitors would see.   I keep those really clean and decorated.   I am very chill on all the other rooms.    I wish I had the OCD cleaning problem, but I just.....don't Sad

My entire house HAS to be clean at all times!! I clean it once a week.

We have wood floors and tile throughout the whole house and it's amazing how much dirt/dust accumulates in a matter of hours!! I am constantly sweeping/vaccuming the floors.

I get this OCD-ness from my mother!

I clean every. single. day.  It can be a real drag and I often feel like "just the maid" in my family.  The only room that I don't worry about too much is my boys room but I have unfortunately turned my ds 1 into a neat freak and anytime someone goes in his room to play he comes venting to me how "they are making a big mess in there" when really they are only taking out a few toys.  Terrible, I know.  But there are some times that I will let it all go...I am either to one extreme or the other I guess but should try to find a happy medium.  When someone walks into my house they walk directly into the dining room and they can look to their right and see my kitchen and to their left and see my living room.  Straight back they can see down the hall to my bedroom(which I keep my door closed most of the time anyway).  I am in the OCD club.

IMO, be glad that you don'tHappy Wink  It's very frustrating.  It seems that everyone else in the family can have fun yet I am still stressing over what else I "have to get done" before I can relax.......my chill time never comes around because my "have to do list" never ends.

There is no room in my house that is EVER as clean as I want it.  Clutter... drives me batsh!t.  But I refuse to continuously pick up everyone else's clutter... so... Doh!

Can I just say thank you for saying this?  I thought I was the only one... and I HATE that I do this!!!
