what do your layers look like- where EW meets sperm?

Curious what yours look like?  Mine is still separated (am doing SD) but in between the EW and sperm it almost looks streaky. I tried really hard adjusting the incubator top to keep below 100 but noticed a couple times it had reached this.  Hopeing all is good though because what's closer to the bulb and thermometer is the EW not the sperm.  

Also, notice I have to take little by little of the sperm using the dropper to separate the sperm from EW or I start getting some EW in there.  I end up using only about 75% of the original sperm sample.  Is this what other people are going through?  Thanks.  Best of luck to all doing there attempt this month!

Not sure about where the EW and sperm meet looking streaky... I'll have to check next time. BUT, I did notice when I did SD the first time that the dropper, even though it was in the sperm (top layer) of the sample, managed to suck up the EW all the way at the bottom.  I switched droppers (thinking maybe it was too powerful of a suction) and I also started not sqeezing the bulb so hard and taking a little at a time.  I ended up using plastic disposable pipettes and it didn't happen for my second attempt.  At least now I know that happened to someone else too. HTH!

Mine looks like a tornado going up in the EW.

But sometimes my sample is mixed after being in the incubator, that is the worst, because it happend a couple a days ago when I had ovulated, so now I have to wait a month

So be absoluteley sure that it is not mixed ok....

I have no idea why it sometimes happend ?

When I had pefect sample I noticed that it was when the incubator was a little under the 99 ( about 97 - 98 ). So I think it is better that it gets too cold than too hot.

Oh that's interesting.  So sorry to hear about it mixing!  What a weird thing to have happen.  If you're doing the diet too that's a huge bummer.  Good luck with next month.  I wish I had kept it about 97-98, the first 10 min. it was right around 99-100  ehhh.  Hope I didn't kill em'.  I wish I couldn've looked under the microscope but I couldn't- it was just too hard to do all the other stuff with so many people staying at my house.  Had to fake a belly ache to lay down for 20 min. after I did TBM... 

When you say tornado is it actually moving?  If not maybe that's what I'm talking about.  I will try to perfect SU next month if I get another go, just ran out of time and knew I'd safely do SD.  Thanks for the tip.
