Moon phase or gender signs?

so, I think I might be O'ing during the Full moon in May, when I want to ttc. But I also want to look into what sign I would be conceiving in. I have a calendar for that but it won't go into 2010 yet...I guess I'll just have to wait and see...this is the site that I have:

Not really sure how to use it though...so I guess for example: If I O'ed on Sept. 25th, then the moon would be void of course (what does that mean?), and would be in Capricorn from the 25th until the 28th?

It was wrong for Ds I think...I conceived him on October 31st in 2007, so the moon was in cancer which is supposed to be the strongest girl sign, but it was during a full moon, so that would be correct for the moon phases.

Do you think gender sign or moon phase is more important in determining gender? Or is it all just not worth thinking about and just try when we want to try no matter what the moon phase is in?

According to the Jonas conception method:

1. Ovulation occurs when the distance between the Sun and Moon is the same as it was at the time of a woman's birth. For instance, if the woman was born at the time of the Full Moon, when the Moon makes an angle of 180° with the Sun, the time of fertility during her adulthood will be whenever the Moon is full, and this independently of her menstrual cycle.

2. The gender of the child is determined by the sign the Moon occupies at the time of conception. (Although the exact time of conception is elusive but easy to influence)

3. Unfavorable gravitational forces of certain celestial bodies at the time of conception can produce complications during pregnancy, specifically in the fetus. (and dates can be chosen to avoid these influences)

This is neat for several reasons...

First, it potentially means 12 to 13 more chances per year to conceive. That being in addition to your hormomal cycle's fertile periods.

Second, these times happen on a schedule. Easy planning, no guessing. O+12 becomes simple addition.

Third, one more sway to add to your gender cocktail. And of course who doesn't like a free and natural approach?

My cousin and two friends have concieved using this method so I know it works for some people. ( I won't be TTC until 2010 because of adoption and an impending relocation)

And because I don't really want to go into a long explaination about how to calculate a Sun Moon midpoint; if you'd like to try it, I'll do it for you. Free. For a decade in advance if you'd like.

It's quick and easy with my handy dandy astronomy program. In the interest of researching the effectivness of the method, I'd just like to know if it worked for you.

I'll work up some info and post as an example.

Hi Ladies, I need some advice if you dont mind. Ok....Iam 16 weeks pregnant and ive just got my intelligender through the post(mail) today. Iam so wanting to do the test but iam on antibiotics for a water infection. I started the course of antibiotics yesterday, and i so wanna take this test. My question is do you think the medication is gonna affect the results. I have three girls already ages from 8,6,4 and iam really that the results say boy, so ladies please for me also that its a healthy baby boy.I have my 2nd U/S on the 20th of december

It was right for over 90% of the girls at ff so far. Their normally all wrong for me but it was right for my last 2 boys that I has charts on, my daughter, and said girl for this baby. Was it right for you?

I have posted this in a different forum but thought i'd get your ladies advice too....

Well I was all set to ttc in December, due to O somewhere around the 7th when I read a post on hear and decided to purchase a planbaby.com girl calendar. Now i wish i hadn't as there were no dates for Dec. However it did say girl for 7th Nov and I am due to O about the 10th Nov. So my Q is, shall I go for it in Nov on the 7th, even though I haven't really been doing the diet 100% ( only just really started and have cut out the big no, no's) or shall I stick with Dec and ignore the planbaby advice. AAAArrrrgggghhh.....i'm so confused.

Please advise xx

Does being on clomid affect your biorhythm chart readings or does gender swaying change the accuracy of the chart reading? Anyone have the experince with getting the opposite reading being on clomid or gender swaying?

Martine Lafleur Method

This is my first posting here but I have read many other postings here before.

My wife has been trying the Martine Lafleur method for 2 weeks now. Personally, I believe this woman is a complete scam. First of all, her boy and girl "crucuial" dates and exact times are so easy to predict that I have predicted both the dates and times for every month until the end of 2009 (if anybody wants some, I can post them) for both boys and girls. Next, she says the pH level has to be acidic or basic (girl or boy) and to use pills to make you more acidic/basic. However, no pill can change the level of pH in your body. It is always constant at 6.5 unless douching is used (temporary change with that). She says to test yourself. Of course you will not be in the right zone for a girl or a boy since your body is always neutral so you have to buy her pills at $50/month. The only thing that may help is the calcium/magnesium pill that you need to get if wanting a girl. She tells you that you must take the pills until the baby is conceived (2 month mimumum waiting period after starting using the pills). If you dont conceived until 6 months later, that is $300 in pills. So even if she did give refunds in for the orignial membership, she would still get hundreds from everyone buying the pills. But I do not think she has any intention of giving the refund either. She says you must send in a birth certificate and the form called "Our Baby is Born". However, when I tried to e-mail her to ask where to get this form, I have never received a reply. I also mailed the question with no reply either. In fact, I have sent her about 6 different questions via e-mail and have got no responses to any of them (makes me wonder why not - maybe a scam). Anyways, I was wondering what everyone else here thought of it and if any of you have ever gotten a response from her to a question (or a refund!). I am almost 100% sure it is a scam but hey, maybe if it is combined with other methods, it will work. Guess it always has a 50/50 shot.

We are new here and overloaded with all the helpful info the www has to offer. I checked with an ovulation calendar this month it said ovulation would happen on the 16. I took OPK from 12-16, finally on 16 got a faint positive line, and again on 17. Saliva ovulation test didn't become positive till 18. Did BD on 12 and 14 with the shettles theory in mind, trying for the girl this time. But when did or will I ovulate according to the test? and did we BD to early?

hi ladies

so i am new to this, we are planning to start ttc using gender swaying for a girl.

which method do you suggest for me?

background: i have irregular cycles and possibly policystic ovaries. my FHS is defective as my body tries countless times to ovulate before actually releasing an egg (this causes cysts and pain)

i feel pg naturally with my first pregnancy but mc at 8 weeks. Morgan, i used clomid - the clomid did shorten my cycles except for the last cycle that i got pg on (i od on CD37) i was also just about to get married in the middle of the clomid and Od while on honeymoon. hence morgan's existance... lol

what should i try???

Hi all I am new to this forum, I accidently found this site when looking for reviews og Genselect. unfortunately i found this iste after i ordered my kit. I came to know from this site a lot of good and bad reviews of the kit. I already ordered the kit si i dont know how bad or how good it wil be .

My problem is a little different . it is regarding the order of the kit itself. I saw on this site that many people have ordered the same kit. My question is really to them. how well are they in responding to your questions? I ordered from them 10 days back (8 business days) but i did not heard from them back again. i want to know if they are genuine or they just take money and dont process the order. I checked with my credit card company and saw that the money has been deducted. so i dont know if should report it to my crdit card company or not.

I sent them emails but no response to that. Is this company really processes order once they receive.

It would be helpful if somebody responds to my question.

Just wondered if any of you have seen this site ? This is what I used when I conceived my daughter and I just wondered what the experts here think about it. I think it goes entirely on the timing method and obviously wouldn't be 100%. I found Ingender after I was pregnant last time and had no idea how many other factors could influence your sway. I can't believe I put my faith into this calendar after having conceived 3 boys in a row but it did work for me. You basically type in your cycle dates and your preference for a boy or a girl and it will put the dates to BD for you in a black box.

Interested to see if anyone else here used it and did it work for them.
