Just a quick update...I have made my 3 attempts....the last 2 days so wish me luck!!! I seemed to get a +opk earlier this month....oh well, I can always pray that it works!!! My ph has stayed low this whole time, which is good!! Never over 5, so I am glad about that...no ewcm...dry and creamy cm...so that is good as well!! I only douched once this cycle and used replens once. So, far ph has been low....DH's ph was 7.4....mine as of right now 4.2. So, looking good....Now if I can manage to get preggo!!! My first SU mixed a bit, but I scooped a lot off the top and used the bottom, which looked more like circle swimmers. I mean they looked like they all were, but that just would be impossible!!! Anyhow, second SU was better, but not a whole lot of movement, except I can say the one that were moving were circle lost swimmers. So, hopefully that was good enough. My last one was last night, which I did not get to lie down after and had to go out to dinner, but I left diva cup in and checked ph in between dinner!! That was interesting!!! Well, I almost wanted to have one this morning, but A) it might be too late by the time I bake it and all and B) sperm count is at it's highest I read in the morning, which would be No good for TTC a girl!! So, wish me luck ladies because I need it and I can honestly say I am burning out with this all!!!

THANKS....I did replens finger and lime/douche....at different times of course!!! My ph jumped up a little, which it did not do last month the whole 4 hours +!!! The second time I checked (1hr) ph rose!! Only to 5.3, but still!!! I am so scared because I totally feel like this is my month...I don't know why but I do!!! I have the worst headache too (No coffee and I only drink a tall a day)!! Is tylenol okay or does that sway anything? Anyone??? I feel like I need to lay down!!

Could you get DH to give you another sample and redo? That's one option, even though it's a second sample with abstaining, it's still probably pretty good.

Otherwise, I say go for it! That I would use a little bit, the portion you're talking about if you feel like all your other factors are in place. Is your pH right, been good about the diet? Timing's right. Remember that swaying is so many things and doing SU is adding to that. I would be sure to do a follow up douche at half hour no matter what....HTH! Good luck to you!

Emergency Ladies!!!!!! My SU mixed a bit, but my top layer has more circle swimmers than anything....not crowded!!! What do I do????? AHHHHHHHHHH!!! Should I still dump it????

L4B - Not sure if you have a cup like mine, but if you grab just the very end and pinch it while pushing down 'Think giving birth' you should be able to remove the suction a little. Pinch as much of the end as you can when it starts to come out and the suction should release. Just try to break the seal and don't pull it out until then. If you panic then try to slide your finger inside along the side of it and that will break the air seal if all else fails. GL!!!!

I did too. I think that is fine. I did it because I wanted to use my 7% vinegar and calcium for the special properties it has. I probably wouldn't have douched with lime since the lime was already int he diva cup...what are you douching with?

Are your layers staying pretty separated or do the boundaries start to blend some?

My boundaries seem to blend some but this happens when I first put the EW on as it seems to hit the sides sometimes and this brings the semen up around but I can still see the line where the meet.

After hour is up take EW off and thin layer under it and discard, put rest in Diva cup with enough lime to drop it to a ph of 4-5. Insert and check every half hour, adding more lime if necessary. I actually found that I didn't need to check it very often, my ph and the ph in the cup stayed really low. Anyone else find this?

I think that everything looks great! Just make sure that the licroice root does not lower DHs pH too much as this happened with my DH and we missed an attempt because of it. Good LUCK!!!

Well, I actually got an attempt in this month!!! It is about time!!! But again, something had to go wrong!!! I was unable to temp because my grandma was in hospital and I spent the 3 days prior to my attempt there (she lives 6 hours from here) so I have no idea if I Od!! My body gave no signals at all!!! Grrrrr!! I got two days worth of +OPKs so I was sure that I had it all figured out but my temps were so high I am not sure. Other than that the SU went great qwith the help of the SMP we got in two attempts so I feel good about that just not sure if I O`d or not

Luv- the diva cup should be put in so that some of it is hanging out. That way the sperms have a long way to swim..better for ttc a girl. Good luck!!!!

That's really funny about the Diva cup, good luck with that . I think this is going to be our month too, summer's on-lots of support over these past months from you all. It's kinda fun to be online like this, I've never been a part of a message board before. I'm feeling really good about our attempts, we're ready... I still get scared too----I want a baby daughter so badly, but I just try to focus on the fact that TTC is the only way to bring her to me and that all babies bring so much love and open our world no matter who they are! Some days I am stronger than others! It is a hard journey...

I am actually waiting to get AF anyday so I am on the next round....time to get cracking with all the preps again...
