these are great photos! That's what mine looked like as well with real EW and SD. Last night with our attempt I used liquid EW but...I think it got too liquidy with the incubator and the layers were not clearly defined after an hour. I still took the top because it had a slightly different tint than the bottom, nervous about that. I think tonight I'll go back to real EW. We were going to try this morning but it didn't work out.

My only concern is-are the layers too defined? Thanks for the pics!

Heres my attempt pics using some plastic from a pen holder box to make a tube, which I wrapped some old tights around and put on the top of the sample

After being in the incubator for about an hour and 15 minutes the layers are still clearly defined.

So do you think it looks right ? I thought there would be more white sperm on top, but maybe i am wrong ? ?? We looked in the microscop, and there was live sperm in both the top, the middle and the bottom. There were most in the bottom.

This is my test tube holder. It is a piece of styrofaom that I stuck the test tube down in at an angle.
