Not to be an alarmist because I don't even come on here anymore but I think you HAVE to push your clinic to be seen now, figure out if there has been a mistake and figure out who made it- I cannot believe they would not see you right now for an u/s. If they grabbed the wrong embryo, I would want a DNA test to make sure they are mine and if they are not, I would want to know where my embryos are.

We have a woman on our board going through this and her RE is seeing her immediately to get to the bottom of the issue as it seems any respectable RE would.

I hope it turns out to be 2 girls like it should have been from the beginning but not matter what, I would have some testing done to verify DNA. Good luck.

My due date is january 23rd..I have a growth scan on Wednesday and I am going to have tha tech check gender as well..I've been told at every scan since week 17 that baby a is most definitely a boy so I'm not expecting to hear any different..

This is kind of scary. As you know I'm looking hard in to family balancing/gender selection & as I look I have found another lady who went to a fertility dr 4 a girl & now she's having a boy. Your also being told one baby is a boy & 2 girls was what they transferred. With that being said I see even going to a fertility dr & paying thousands of dollars is not a 100 % guarantee. Btw- r u still being told one baby is a boy? When is ur due date?

What lab did they use to test gender etc? Reprogenetics?Genesis?

and I also did want to add that at the time of my transfer,they did show me the dishes/embryos with my name on them and verified it was me so I do believe they're both mine,just a wrong dish was grabbed..

I am going to talk to a lawyer and see what they have to say..that's all I really can do at this point..thank you for all of your positive thoughts,i do appreciate it:)..I will be checking the gender again next week during my growth scan..

Why don't you have an amnio to know for sure now. They can also check DNA to make sure it is your baby... if not- the real parents need to be notified. What if it was a mom with lots of girls wanting their boy? This whole thing just makes me so sick. You are a strong woman. I am so sorry you have to go through all this.

I have lost a lot of respect for my re and the clinic through this whole thing and I plan on having an attorney contact them immediately after I have my c-section if baby a is boy..the fact that they will not see me or talk to me is the most irritating part of this whole thing...I can certainly understand one sonographer/ultrasound being wrong but five different ones are not int opinion..I go back next week for a growth scan and I of course will have them recheck then but I don't expect it to change..I am very thankful that both of these babies are healthy and I love them no matter what but I still feel my clinic owes me something and their attitude is just disgusting to me.if a mistake was made then ok but for them to refuse me te courtesy to even check into it is completely negligent.I'm sorry I'm just very angry about that part of this whole thing..

I'm really quite shocked that they are not responding to you at all. first because if I made a mistake I would not want to piss the person off, LOL--they would want to keep you happy, decreases the chances that you will sue. I would however get a lawyer involved now--start the investigation now--that many documented u/s's aren't wrong. The finality of it yes is when the baby is born, but I would get your ducks in a row, (assuming you want the clinic to do something)--I know that right now they are getting their ducks in a row as well.......

I can't believe your clinic. That is just horrible. I agree with the girls. I would have my lawyer ready. That is unacceptable.
