I just ordered from IVfpharmacy and my order arrived in 4 days to here (NY). Shipping is $ 18 no matter how much it weighs.

TD, I just got my price quote. Ordering everything through Freedom except Gonal-F, Menopour and HCG- those 3 through ivfmeds. Total cost approx $3500. Ivfmeds will save you a bunch with Gonal-F especially and shipping is $40-80.

TD, I am also on long lupron (6 amps) protocol. I'm meeting with my clinic today to get a price quote on meds so I'll let you know what they say. I was told to expect around $5000 though, but we'll see. I have heard you can save an average of $1000-1500 if you order through ivfmeds.com but that site takes 2-3 weeks to deliver meds (if you live in US) so you can only do that if you have time before you cycle. And, You can also see if your clinic has a message board and make friends on there to see if anyone will donate meds to you for free. Lots of people have leftover meds.

Seems very expensive, Did you check with your insurance. I am sure they will cover few meds as LMM mentioned (Ever though you dont have IVF coverage). Most of my major Drugs were Purchased through FF except Menupor & they gave me an estimate of $2.7 K. But luckily my insurance covered & i paid like 300 $ from pocket.

I agree. The meds ARE expensive, but I don't think I spent more than $2,000.00 or so. Luckily my insurance covered BCPs, Lupron, and a couple of other meds (anything that wasn't strictly considered a "fertility" drug), and I only had to cover the co-pay.

Mine were about $2.5k for long lupron. I got my Menopur, Gonal-F and progesterone suppositories through ivfmeds, the rest through my local monitoring clinic.

That sounds too much. I was also on the long Lupron, but I got my Menopur, Gonal-F and HCG from ivfmeds.com and I paid less than $2K for those. My supps, all the pills, the PIOs and the Lupron were covered through insurance with co-pays. Check other places and get a price quote!

Just spoke to Freedom Fertility and my total drugs are going to be $5k! I'm on the long lupron protocol. Does this seem like a lot or is it typical? I'm scared to tell my DH. I was foolishly thinking the meds would be about half of this!
