My next appt is Dec 20th.Ob decided not to do a cervical yesterday as he was certain that he would have stimulated the start of labor and he wasn't comfortable with doing that yesterday...wants me to get to next week unless I go on my own before. On the 20th he is having his np do a more aggressive check to see if she can start things so that I'm not in the hospital over Christmas. He did tell me to try to see if I could get things going on my own before the 20th though . Here's to hoping that home methods work for me.

Scheduled induction date- December 20th!

Hoping she comes sooner because my oldest son's birthday is December 19th!

If baby boy wasn't measuring a week ahead, I'd have to wait until 39 weeks too. She decided to go with a due date of anywhere from the 20th to the 26th, so I'm just lucky. I know for sure when we conceived, so our true due date is the 25th...but I'm not complaining! A full moon can do wonders!

I've had several friends who have been in or associated with the military and I've heard the stories. The only thing I wish is that my ob would induce during the 38th wk sometime but he refuses to induce until 39wks unless medically indicated. I am honestly hoping and praying the the dec. 20th/21st full moon is enough to make my body go. (I will be helping along obviously with whatever I can try to do...whether it works is another story ). I'm definitely to the point that I am just ready to be done. I'm just really nervous about missing out on Christmas with my girls because I'm in the hospital and our 17 month old won't understand whats going on with mommy gone . I guess we'll just have to see what happens. GL to you as well.

I'm 24+4 and usually your uterus measures in centimeters about where you are wks...my uterus is measuring at 30 cm/wks. Ob is concerned that if I were to get too close to term that the baby might be close to 9.5lbs and too big for me to push out. He knows I don't want a c-section and wants to help me avoid it if possible. I'll let you know of that date once I know.

I wish I had had your doctor when I was pregnant with my first son! My husband was in the army at the time, so we were at the military hospital on post and it was terrible! I got basically minimal care and only 1 ultrasound at 20 weeks. They let me go 5 days over due (even though my husband only had 18 days at home during his year long deployment which he scheduled to be around my due date so he'd be able to spend some time with his newborn son) and he ended up being 9lbs 5oz! Luckily my body was able to handle a baby that size, but it would've been nice to have a smaller kiddo! Especially since the epidural had worn off by the time I was ready to push. EEK! This time around, I'm back with my original OB and she is amazing! Inducing me at 38 + 3 on the 14th! My uterus is mearuring a couple of weeks ahead so she doesn't want me to have another 9 pounder! And I'm all for that!

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. My next appt is also the 6th. We're in the home stretch!

My water broke and resealed at 30 weeks so now I am back home after 2 weeks of hosptial bedrest. Doctor says I can deliver in my home town now if I were to go into labor early since I had both steroid shots for lung maturity. Hoping to make it to 37 weeks(full term) Doctor is pretty sure baby is head down now, BP is normal, not leaking any more fluid! I am being seen once a week till I deliver! My next appointment is Monday the 15th!

Were almost there ladies!!!!

Went in for my 36 week appointment. The doctor is pretty sure she is head down, but since I keep feeling the hicups up top she is ordering an ultrasound, also to check for her size. I go in on Tuesday for that. I tested positive for group B step, I have never had to deal with that before, but it doesn't sound too bad...

Had my u/s today. Baby is bigger but not as big as they thought. However I have been put on 2 days bedrest (or at least as much as possible when no one else to help with the other 2) because he is fully engaged and causing some rather painful BH contractions. Next appt is the 22nd. My ob doesn't believe I'll make it to an induction date but if by some off chance that I make it there the date has been set for Dec 30th.

I had my last appointment on Monday. My meassurements are running a little big at 35 weeks. My doctor said we may do an ultrasound after my next appt on the 2nd of Novemeber to check for size and also because my little girl was head down and now she is not anymore.

4d ultrasound didnt turn out as good as I would have liked because the umbilical cord and placenta was in the way. Still turned out okay though. She was sucking on her fingers in this pic
