Dont agree Bella at all. I find the opposite in my experience. I also find the pigeon pair to be more popular. I hear more complaints about how difficult and expensive girls are lol.

In my experience this is so true for me.. maybe not for everyone, no but for me yes..

I can't stand people like that. I mean why say that crap for random strangers. Keep it in your head, or talk to other people that agree with you about that (even though I don't know why someone would) not some Post P mom.

Well I got super sick with a blood infection and was in the hospital for 4 days (without my kids) and that was 4 days after her birth and lost so much weight from being sick. That and bfing is all I have done, but mainly the illness I bet.

That's right. I remember that Okay, I don't want to go that route. I would love to be down 25lbs or so by that point.

My MIL (who only had 2 boys) kept repeating, "I don't' know what I'm gonna do with a girl when she gets here!" while I was pregnant with DD#1. It was cute at first, then downright nerve grinding after about the 50th time. Ugh.

I really think it's people's perspective's and their lack of sensitivity to certain situations. Some people really think about what they say and some don't. It's so frustrating....

hmm sometimes people like that make me wonder.. Not only was she being a bit nosy "I hate when people just stick there nose in the stoller or car seat and then just leave but she was a bit rude too..

Its funny how people dont say things like ohh you have a little girl at home and now you have your little prince so I guess this is your last baby.. I always wonder why everyone thinks having girls is so superior to having boys.. I LOVE having boys.. I'd lie if I said I didnt long for a girl for as long as I can remember but my gosh people keep it to yourselves..

I always think of people with GD now and watch what I say when it comes to gender on there new babies.. girls AND boys are equaly special in my eyes.

31lbs... awesome!! I've lost my 35lbs I gained.. I still need to lose alot more but still feels pretty darn good.

Well, boo it never feels good to be sick- but hey, you lost all the weight- that is awesome! I hope to lose all my weight soon- I hope to gain as little as possible this time, rather then 45 with my first, you know. All that matters is the healthy baby-

Anyways, on to the RUDE comment- I have to say, that is not within her scope to say- I don't think its ok to tell a women they should stop because they have a boy and girl- its rude, stereotypical, and unless it was someone who knew all your medical history and advised, advised being a key word, against getting pregnant again for only health reasons, that is one thing- this seems motivated some other way. I am sorry that you were told this.

I CAN see why you took offense but I am sure she didn't mean it rudely. Some people don't think that would be offensive at all, she wasn't really insulting the boy gender...she just really really likes girl babies lol!

the lady is probably feeling a little Jelouse (or suffers from GD) and that was her way of making herself feel better about herslef. Don't let it get to you. (although i have run into one or two of those ladies before myself, they make you want to box them in the face)

I had the 6 week PP check up and lost all 31 pounds plus 4 extra pounds! Anyhow Kathryn was in her carseat and lady tries to peek in at her. Then the lady moves seats to "chat" with me and look at the baby. She starts gushing about what a sweet baby girl she was then asked if she was my first. I said no, I have a little boy at home. She tells me she has 2 girls and how she just loves having girls and how lucky I was to have a girl this time. Then she said " I bet you are done having kids now that you got your princess right, but I bet if you would have had 2 boys you would have tried again, until you got a sweet girl. " I just told her I wasnt sure and left it at that. But I thought that was rude and tactless!
