Here in the UK we get the shot in the arm! I was worried it was going to be a butt shot, but was pleasantly surprised to find out it was in the arm..
Needles don't really bother me at all.. I just switched doctors and had my first appointment at my new doctors surgery and got an extra blood draw for the pleasure as they havent yet sent over my file from ym old doctors so they needed to do them all again PLUS my standard 28 week blood draw in 3 weeks time as well.. It's a good that I DON'T mind needles really LOL
Thankfully didn't have to have the shot after both of boys' births as they're A negative.

Re: RH factor

Yup I am.... also teriified of needles. The last needle I got was a few year's ago because I remember it so well as if it were yesterday. The mid wife said she must have hit a nerve because my but went numb and it felt like hundreds of little ant's crawling up my spine. It was the weirest feeling I have ever had. I usually ask them to warm it in their hands a little bit it makes that cold sting less pain! You will be fine. It depends on the person giving it to how mush it hurts, some really sting and others you can honestly hardley feel tell them you are scared and they will be nice. It always works for me.
Re: RH factor

Bellla:

Anyone else have the RH incompatibility? everytime I'm pg I need to get the Rh immune-globulin shot and I dread it..
