A very easy baby, she only really cries if something SPECIFIC is wrong, like a poopy diaper or hunger. She's 90% of the time very very quiet. My boys were a little more all around noisey, which I liked, since I could always hear them and stuff. But she's good; mil natured, very drooly and always biting on her blanket silky thing. She loves tummy time and play gym time, and I give her cereal with a little applesauce once a day (lunch time-ish). She just had her 4 month shots so she's sleeping more than usual. She has been sleeping thru the night since late September (about 2.5 months old). Hope all your wonderful July girls and boys are great!

As far as sleeping goes, that boy can sleep!! he stays awake a lot during the day except a cat nap here and there and then sleeps all night! i dont have to get up at all at night and sometimes i beat him to waking up. And boy is he a little chatter box! before going to sleep he lays in his crib just making so many noises.

He loves smiling!! He is such a happy baby and really doesn't cry very often (hopefully i dont jinx myself lol)

Happillyexpecting- I am so waiting for the laugh too, hes almost there but still not quite. Is it just me or does it seem like they are already growing so fast?!?!

Re: How are all the July babies doing?!?

Thank you! Your son is a doll baby as well! All of you ladies gave birht to amazingly beautiful children! I am so proud of all of us!

How are things going for everyone as far as breastfeeding/bottle feeding/sleeping/etc.?

I am only giving Lilyana breast milk, and she does well with a bottle too (I pump) which is good and has allowed me to leave her a few times with family. I even got an overnight! My son's grandma watched both of the kiddo's overnight one night a few weeks ago....boy was that awesome! I sooo needed the sleep too!

She still isn't that great of a sleeper though, but getting better. She takes a long time to go down at night (like 1 hour of dad bouncing her and on and off the breast for about an hour most nights) but then she typically wakes up on average 2 times per night. The other night she had her longest stretch of sleep (11pm to 5:30am) so 6 1/2 hours! That never happens though so was a rare occurance.

She started smiling at 5 weeks and is getting closer to giggling every day!! We cannot wait to hear that first laugh!

Re: How are all the July babies doing?!?

so glad to hear all the babies and mommies are doing good!

Such a good big brother, amazing the bond there, never thought a toddler so young would have that connection with a "baby". :)

Breastfeeding is going superb! Very happy!

She feeds every 2hrs pretty much throughout the day and feeds about twice during the night.. which makes up for it! I was feeding her on the hour or two for the first few weeks, and the nights were shocking, I was getting no sleep at all! She is slowly settling into a pattern and realising night time is sleep time luckily for me... :)

Hope the other July Mummies are going well!!! xx

Re: How are all the July babies doing?!?

Glad you're doing well!

We're good here!! All the big siblings are loving the new baby.... always a fight to see who gets to sit next to her in the car!! Enjoying the last few days before school starts, but very excited for that too!

Starting to think about losing the baby weight.... starting, but nothing serious yet!! Much easier to cook if I'm thinking about speed, not my waist line!!

RJ is doing well, growing well, nursing well. She's sleeps well at night, just wakes to nurse, but cosleeping makes that quick. Tons of smiles, which everyone loves! And, of course, looks fabulous in Pink!!

:D

How are all the July babies doing?!?

Hope everyone is enjoying there little bundles of joy!
