People called my stylist Rissa (kind of like Lissa, but Lissa's WAY better).

You are not alone. I also changed my mind like 1000 times till came up with final 3 (well 4 but 4th is on the list because my DH insisted but I don't like it). Finally about a month and a half before my EDD I feel good about the names and I know this is it this time. I voted Leah as I am not a fan of names that have sssss in it ,sound kind of mean to me (but it is just me ;) ).

No prob. I have teaching in my background, and some of the names bring up images for me based on kids I'VE known, not necessarily what others think. But I've known some doozies, and some lovely names, too. My teaching clouded TONS of great names for me, because if I knew a kid with a bad rep based on a trendy name, I couldn't name any of my kids that. I've never known a bratty Leah. They always been very cute/sweet little girls.

The only Carissa I've known was a former hairdresser of mine, and she was cool, but kind of stuck up (again, just my experience).

You crack me up, Callalilley! with the polls.

Um, Carissa...it's OK, but one of those "harsh" sounding names. Maybe harsh isn't right. It reminds me of the girl who's the co-leader in a group of Mean Girls.

Leah sounds so much softer. I love Leah Grace, no doubt, but you gotta do what YOU love.
