Paint color advice that goes with WHITE furniture in a SMALL room.

We have chosen white furniture for our DD (i can't believe i finally get to say DD! ). I really like purple colors, however, because the room is extremly small, i know (or i think?) the paint should be lighter. Right now DS2 is in that room and we have darker colors with a horizontal strip through the middle and i realize what a mistake that was in such a small room (with only one window). So i need color schemes that look good with white, but that isn't a boring color and doesn't diminish the size of the room.

I love the colors pink and gray. This is my first baby girl and my last so yes she will be SPOILED. LOL... I am sure her clothing will be very, very girly but I wanted something that she could grow into as a toddler for her bedroom. Something thats not real baby like but sweet for a baby girl. Her bed and changing table will be that cherry wood color pictured below. Im thinking of doing a shade of pink similar to the bedding with white wainscoating on the bottom but that sounds like alot of work so maybe just pink.

Okay so, I found this amazing site where you can create your own custom bedding online. They have tons of fabric to choose from and you can mix and match anyway you want it. Well I made like 16 different ones...lol it's really fun (can you tell) But I have narrowed my designs down to 3 choices. Two of which look very similar but do have several differences. We are expecting a girl and I would like to know your opinion on each of these sets that I have designed. I love tinkerbell so much ( maybe I love the name Annabelle for that reason also lol) and just yesterday came up with the fairy modern nursery idea (I wanted to do modern romantic with vintage twist before ). What do you think ? I think that baby still have time for modern romantic when she is older? I would like to put this quote somewhere in the room :'When the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about. I did it all in tinkerbell...red white and tinkerbell...I used to be called tinkerbell as a child...so it fits my DD's theme is tinkerbell...that and it isn't all frilly and pink!!!

Sooo, my Dh painted the nursery, and I hate it! He's the best though, and said he would RE-paint it for me :)))). It's just tooooo dark, and I've been so upset about it. I want a light soft pink, not washed out though. I don't want it to look white. But I could buy darker pink things if I wanted to. Anyways, here are some ideas of the wall color. Which one's do you like best? Thanks!

Just finished nursery. I just love pink if you can't tell! Crib/furniture belonged to my two DS's. Bedding I bought at a thrift store-It is Pottery Barn kids. Canopy and baby doll I bought new at Pottery barn.

I had to start this so I would have somewhere to keep my progress and put my purchases. The nursery isn't even constructed yet. But I want to start this from the main beginning so I can post my purchases somewhere.

As of right now we have the footer dug, poured, and the block foundation layed! And I have gotten my bedding in (Yay!!!:-) I picked up a good deal on a changing table to match my boy's crib bed and I'm looking at art, decor, etc.

Isla's Nursery "UNISEX" thoughts?

With our new baby boy on the way we had to "unisex" Isla's nursery, we've gone for the Mama's and Papa's Gingerbread Range :0) I love how vibrant the colours are and think they go lovely next to the white furniture. What do you think? We'll be adding our boys name on the wall once he's arrived, we havent even picked his name yet lol! Thanks for looking. xx
