LOVE LOVE LOVE this nursery!! You did an amazing job, and the mod mural is so perfect! I did a robot theme for my little guy who's due in June and it's still sort of in progress, but I hope it turns out even a fraction as awesome as this =)

Yall are so sweet! DH had NO say in the nursery... he is not exactly good at decorating (used boxes for end tables when I met him)and doesn't understand why I do some of the things I do but when it's all finished, I think he gets it. When he saw the mural design I sketched out he said "isnt' that kind of busy?" I could have slapped him.. after that he had to just GO away and not touch a thing! Of course he did take the light down so I could paint it and put it back up and he did put up the two little shelves.. besides that, I did it all and I liked it that way!

Of course my mother and mother in law had lots of input and got very frustrated with me when I didn't buy something they thought was right for the room (curtain fabric, bedding, etc). They thought that since I said "robots" that I must want anything with robots on it no matter the style or color and they couldn't understand my vision.. LOL. I think from now on, if I'm going to decorate a room, I won't tell anyone there is a theme because I'd rather be left to my own devices.. they will see when I'm done!

It's clear I'm not done having kids, this was a blast and I have yet to do a little girl room... :D

I LOVE THIS ROOM!! This is my dream baby boy nursery except the bedding wasn't out yet when DS was born and DH wanted jungle animals (gag), so I have baby bedding remorse! So beyond amazing!! Congrats!

I seriously love it! What are your other boys' rooms/themes?

I'll have to get them to clean it right.. lol.. and then take pics sometime. They share a room (we have a 3 bedroom house) and the bunk bed/drawer/desk unit takes up so much room it's hard to take a good pic in that space. I wouldn't say there is a theme but we started with a shower curtain somebody gave me that we were going to use for the curtain and we went from there with the colors. I would love to do an outdoorsey/camping theme since they are such wilderness loving boys if we ever move again.. lol.

Thank you all for comments and this is so great for my somewhat wilted ego (feeling like a 9 month pregnant cow right now)! I picked a unique and fun theme before I even found out what I was having so that even if I suffered from GD, I would have something exciting to hold onto. It worked and even though I can't control the gender of the baby... I can control his environment! :D. Over the GD pretty much now.. so no worries.

Thank you so much! I had the best time doing it and even though keeping it cheap was hard... it was a fun challenge! LOL, decemberbaby, I'd LOVE to decorate more rooms but I think I'd have to quit my dayjob to do it professionally!
