GTT at my 28 week visit

So i went to my ob on tuesday for the GTT. It was a little high so i had to go Wednesday for the 3 hour test,. I got poked about 7 times! I havent got the results back yet they said maybe Friday. When The first test was given it was a 137. Is that high. Im scared now!!@!!!!1

So me and Dh have finally picked a name for the baby. I let him choose (with my approval) the name since his ex didnt let him chose dss name. He chose:

Okay so me and dh cannot agree on a name!!!!!! Every name i suggest he hates and every name he suggestes i hate. These are the names that are a possibility. I really really want to name him Sebastian. Ivan, Julius. We mostly like Roman/Greek names. My our sons are named Richard Alexander and Marcus Aiden. We have no clue!!!!!!!!!! If we dont agree i feel like just naming him Sebastian, dh told me maybe. But even so we dont have a first name let alona a middle so i need some help. Try to throw some uncommon names out there for me. tHANK YOU!!!!!!

I weighed my self and this past week i gained 4 pounds!!!!!!!!! Holy moly, which makes it 6 for this month!!!!! Omg! And i exercise too!??!!!

Who has done this? Its seems like there are many benefits from doing this. Im just wondering how do you go about doing this, does every hospital have to do this if you request it or do only certain hospitals cooperate? And also, how much does this cost? TIA

I thought it would be nice for all us August M2b to post what were having if we've found out, or what we hope to have I'll start it off...

Hoping for a girl, posted a video of the scan on gender-prediction and everyone thinks its a too, so hopefully when I have my 3d scan on the 12-may I'll be told girl, fingers crossed.

So i had my appointment today and had another ultrasound, Baby is definantly a boy and a handsome little guy. I asked my doctor how long is the longest he will let me go past my due date and he said a week. I asked him if it was possible to induce the day after my due date, august 8th, that way the babys birthday can be 8/8/8. He said yes and i can be induced up to 10 days before my due date. Dh wants me to be induced at the end of july or august 1st. What do you ladies think? Should i wait to see if he comes on his own on august 7th and if he doesnt, induce on 8/8/8. Or should i induce sooner? Also at my next appointment i have the glucose test.uughhhhh

Made our first purchases this week.

I coslept with DS, and he still finds his way into our bed now, at almost 3, so I decided we needed to have a better setup. I picked up a used (but barely used) Arm's Reach mini cosleeper for $110. They retail for $179 + 13% tax here. It's really important to me to have the baby right next to me, so I hope this setup works well.

I also decided I wanted to try out a sling this time round, and I'm hoping it will work well for breastfeeding a newborn (with DS, we had too many troubles in the beginning and I never would have been able to do it). I got it at http://www.gorgeousbaby.ca/ They have a few on sale, and I had a coupon code for 20% off, so I got it for under $50 including shipping and tax. I am due around the 28th of August but will know better dates at my 12 week scan. We tried really hard to sway for a girl but I don't think it worked as I don't have any M/S yet but I am really tired and so moody its not funny. Is there anyone who is due is Aug that wants a preg buddy???
