How scary, I really hope things improve. As for having bubs at 26 weeks, I know someone whose daughter had twins at 26 weeks recently and they are doing well. I also know that a friend of a friend had to have her baby at 28 weeks because she had secondary breast cancer diagnosed (horrific), her daughter is fine though. Wishing you all the best and every day the baby's lungs get stronger. Have they given you steroids to help with the baby's lung development? As I have heard of that happening. It must be very hard being on bed rest, I hope you have lots of help. Best of luck, stay in there longer little baby.

thinking of you and hoping that baby stays in for a few weeks longer.

my friend gave birth at 27 weeks, and although he had a long NICU stay, he is a happy, healthy 3 1/2 year old now. Yes, there can be problems with early preemies, but you just have to think positive that you babe will be one of the lucky ones.

every day counts at this stage, so just concentrate on keeping that baby in, follow all doctor's directions and hope for the best.

I was having contractions every 3 minutes that felt light, not strong. I had no idea that this was an emergency-type situation. Now they say I am a fingertip dilated and 50 % effaced, and I will have to be flown on a helicopter to a level III NICU if my cervix changes anymore. It is very frightening.

Does anyone know someone who delivered at 26 weeks? Was the baby ok?
