It is invaluable. The other contradiction I seem to find is in white rice. It's part of the girl diet, but from what I know about nutrition, white rice converts into sugar, which is a no-no on the girl diet. I feel like I'm shooting myself in the foot when I eat some of the foods that are on the girl diet. Soooooooo annoying!

Re: Girl Diet Contradictions?

I hate the contradiction to!

That's why I'm gonna do the diet under supervision en bloodworks.

Re: Girl Diet Contradictions?

nini:

You shouldnt take prenatal vitamines ttcing PINK, just folic acid. I am not sure how it all works but when acidic foods are consumed they turn alkaline in the body, I think oranges are actually on the TTC a boy diet.... The girl diet basically consists of milk, greek yogurt, chicken, green beans, cucumber, strawberries, raspberries, crystal light/equal, white rice and plain pasta and a little parmesean and that is about it... If you go in the TTC ebooks they have the diets all lined out for you.

Girl Diet Contradictions?

So I've just started the girl diet and I'm confused with all of the information out there. I am trying to get as many calcium sources as possible, and I've heard that citrus fruits help with acidity for girl TTCing? So I'm having orange juice every day, but I notice that it has a fair amount of potassium. Argh! So I compared the lists of potassium rich foods vs calcium rich foods and there is a fair amount of overlap, such as with raisins, orange juice and carrots--sooooo frustrating. Even my pre-natal vitamins have both sets of nutrients/minerals! I just don't know what is safe to eat and what is not these days.
