Californication

My husband got me into this show. He has them all recorded and I'm on season 2. I didn't think I would like it because I'm not a huge fan of David Ducovney but this show ROCKS. OMG it's so funny.

This show is definitely not for everyone as it is borderline x- rated but does anyone else watch or am I just a freak?

IMO, the first season was better than the 2nd.  But, I will still watch the next season to see how it goes. 

 I've never seen it but I've been looking for a good new show to watch all the seasons of this summer hehe...whats it about?

in the first season, Duchovney was a total "man whore".  He's a writer, has a teen DD and is still in love with the mother of his DD.  She's engaged to someone else.  I don't want to tell you about the 2nd season in case you decide to watch (I don't like to spoil).  It's a pretty decent show. 

New shows out this summer that are good:  Burn Notice (if you like action), Big Brother is usually pretty good, Tori & Dean.....I'll have to think of more.

Thank you!! Especially for the recommendations... I've been such a loser this pregnancy and now thats its summer and HOT I just wanna stay in the cool air conditioned house all day!! I've been seeing the commercials for Burn Notice (that song they are using is actually stuck in my head right now) so I'll def check that out. Tori and Dean I LOVE. Let me know when you think of more hehe

 Oh and I'm def gonna check out this Californication show. Can I get season 1 dvds from Blockbuster/Netflix??

you're quick, Jess!!  I will look on my guide---I have had too many kids and can't remember anything anymore!  I'll look to see what I've been watching.  Def. check out Burn Notice....good show and he's a hottie.  Gabrielle Anwar makes me she's so skinny (I'm just jealous!). 

If you're looking to rent DVD seasons, a couple good ones are Dexter, The Shield.  Oh, on tv, Rescue Me.  It's been on for a few weeks now, but it'll be on for a few months, I think.  If you have DirecTV, channel 101 has started replaying a show that ended a few years ago called OZ, prison show (and you'll see a few nakie men).

Oh, I'm back.....another one on DVD, Nip/Tuck.  Ever watch that one.  Geez, I seem weird cause I've mostly recommended dramas.  I think I don't watch many comedies.  They're not as good as they used to be! 

I don't know about Netflix, but I'm pretty sure you can rent them at Blockbuster.

I definitely wanna rent DVD seasons--I love plowing through them Nip/Tuck is actually on my list I've seen various episodes but never got into it so that should be nice...I like dramas too!! I especially like medical dramas hehe I'll definitely check out some of those other shows thank you girl!!! I have Bright House On Demand not Direct TV :(

I wish I had a season to watch right now, I can't sleep either.  I'm stuck watching Roseanne on TV Land (told you I watch the old comedies)!!

  I'm on a Law and Order: SVU spree at the moment. Bf and I just started renting Prison Break which is pretty entertaining so far (only watched first 4 episodes)

LOVE SVU!!!!  Stabler is on OZ, that's why I started watching L&O!  Yep, Prison Break is another great one!  I was sad that it just ended.

 Don't blame ya LOL Stabler is a hottie!!! Oh no, Prison Break is over for good already?? I guess theres only so far you can take that show but :(

I LOVE CALIFORNICATION!!!!!  BUT, I stopped at season 1 ~ which is where it was suppose to end.  It was only suppose to be a short series and it did so well, they tried to keep going with it.  I was told the second season isn't as good.
