Any BFP's from single FET?
|
|
Hi anyone out there had a BFP with a single FET? And did you do a natural or medicated cycle? Also what was the quality of your frostie like? Thank you.

There have been many girls, and especially of late, that have had great success with FET's! I'm sure they'll see this and post with their own experience.

Yes after two fresh cycles we had one female embryo left. We did a medicated FET with estrogen oral pills, progestrone shots and suppositories. They told me that my embryo was not looking so good after the thaw but it worked. We are currently 27 weeks pregnant and due in August. With our fresh cycles we put two fresh embryos in each time that were good quality. You never know which will work.

We were not a single FET, but transferred two and had twins. I didn't have much confidence going into it, but it worked and we have 6 month old girls now.

Are you planning a SET/FET? As you can see from my sig, I am (at some point). Have heard though, that a hatching blast (like mine) don't usually do as well as ones that aren't. Have you heard this. What is your embie(s) quality/stage?

We only had one normal embryo after our PGD results and I got a BFP. It turned out to be a male, the gender we wanted (although we probably would have transferred it anyway regardless of gender). I just did my first ultrasound today to see the sac. I was a low responder and in the end we only had two embryos to send out for PGD. Both were males, one was abnormal with monosomy 13 and the other was normal Throughout the whole process, I kept hearing that it only takes one. We were blessed three times over because we were left with only one normal male embryo to transfer and did not have to make the difficult decisions of having left-over embryos or not transferring any if they were not of the gender we wanted ... plus I didn't have to transfer two and risk twins (I already have 3 wonderful girls). Miracles do happen and my prayers were answered. We started this process thinking we can take control of it, and in the end, I really believe God (or fate or whatever a person would refer to) played the ultimate role.

We had 3 embies left over after a failed fresh cycle. I first had 2 implanted on a medicated cycled, and that ended with a chemical pregnancy. We then implanted our last frozen embryo on another medicated cycle, and I'm thrilled to say that our little DS is now 2 months old. It can work!
