So I just had my first appt today, and I don't know if it's b/c I know my OB from work or b/c I ovulated late so I don't have an exact EDD yet, but since they couldn't get me in for an official ultrasound until tomorrow she brought the little portable one into the room. She wasn't sure she'd be able to see anything abdominally but we could! The screen itself was teeny but we could make out a little beanie-blob with a beating heart. 
I was so relieved that I got to see it today, it completely made my day!
