2 questions about lime douche

 I have two questions about the lime douche:

1.  The FAQ says that the 50/50 mix of distilled water and lime juice should have a ph reading of 2.  But when I mix equal parts water and lime juice I get a ph reading of 4.  Can anyone explain this?  I would have to add significantly more lime juice to get a ph reading of 2 and I don't think that would be correct.

2.  i made a batch of lime douche for last night's attempt and will be attempting tonight as well.  can i use what's left-over from last night's batch?  do i need to make a new batch?  how long is it good for?  should it be refridgerated for re-use?

I used 50/50 and maybe alittle  more lime and got a ph of 2-3, I don't know the answer to question #2 I am making fresh for each attempt.

 did you use the lime douche 5 min. or 30 min. after DTD?  i thought i read 5 min. first to lower ph and freeze boy sperm, but i'm also thinking that might be a little too harsh to do it so quickly after.

are you doing the lime tampon?  i was planning on it, but after doing the douche and feeling how much it burns/stings, there's no way i can imagine using a lime tampon for 4 hours!  OUCH.

Maybe I'd better try that out beforehand just in case to make sure it doesn't bother me.  If it does bother me, can I do a vinegar tampon?  I don't remember ever reading about that, just the lime. 

 i don't know about the vinegar tampon.  don't think i've read about that on here.  yeah, i would definitely try it out beforehand.  the lime douche really bothered me more than i was expecting.  i had another attempt last night and could only handle the discomfort of doing a .5 ml follow-up douche after DTD.  It just hurt too much.  there's no way i could have done the lime tampon.  oh well.

the 50 50 part is removed from faq. only a pH of 2 is important
