35.5 week app. today-who else can update???

So I am 2-3cm and 90%effaced with bulging membranes. I've been on bedrest for over a month now and in 9 days I'm going to be fricken going for a run, and makin a lil loveI'm soooo ready for him to be born. Who else knows where they're currently at dialtion effacement wise???? 

I'm doing my own pre-natal care since I'm having an unassisted birth, and when I checked myself last night (not something I do as a routine, but I was curious), I could barely feel my cervix. Not sure about dilation, but I would guess I'm probably 90% effaced as well.

 ohhh you're getting close then..i was first effaced to about 90% and then started to dialate shortly after that. I can't wait to hear about your unassited homebirth!! Keep us posted on your condition!

With DS I was 3 cm dilated and 100% effaced at 35.5 days... he came exactly two days later.... good luck!!!!  (He was perfectly healthy too)

Oooooooooooo . . . I havve got major cervix envy now!!!!!!  I am sure I am still sealed up tight, which is fine with me but after 38 weeks I'll really want her out!

 aww that is awesome! and one of the things I miss about a vaginal birth :( all the updates! I have no idea where I am nor will they be checking :( my pre-op is next week, my c-section is 5 days before my due date. I am hoping she comes sooner though.... for selfish reasons lol!

I cant believe i have 40 days!! all of you ladies will no doubt go before me so even less for you all we are sooo close!! I have no idea about my cervix they dont check you here until you go into labor or there is a problem and i think if you go overdue so i will have no idea where im at until i lose my plug after that i know all i have to wait at most is 24hours!!

I was 35 weeks at my last appointment and I was 1cm and thinning, that's all she told me.  I have been having sooo many contractions, I have to have progressed more since then, but don't see her again for another week.  I am ready too.

 I think it is great you have such progress! I get a tad 'jealous' of anyone that has progress..I have NEVER gone into labor. I just once would love the feeling of my water breaking, or even a painful contraction. UGH. I was induced with DS1 because my placenta was bad. Then I have had 3 c/s. This will be my fourth, so I can not do a vbac..they don't even allow them here in Las Vegas. I wouldn't want to run the risk though anyway. Maybe if it was going to be my 2nd c/s..but not my 4th. 

ANYWAY, as of 35w appt. My cervix is high and closed. But, I know she is head down. I do have a date for her arrival though!!!!

WED, May 13th at 5:30p. BUT, I really hope to show something is happening prior. Even if it ends in the c/s being that day, because at least the day would be her choice!!

Sorry for my rant. I think it is so exciting we are all going to be having our babies so soon!! 

 I had my appointment today and refused a cervical check.  If they want to next week, I might let them.  I live five blocks from the hospital, so getting there in a hurry if I had to wouldn't be a problem at all. I had them all the time with my first pregnancy and got really discouraged.  I'm going to have them at their recommendations rather than at every appointment from here on out.  I had the GBS test today, so we'll see how that goes.  My baby moved head down (W00T!) and I am starting to finally be ready for him/her to be born.  I have an ultrasound on Friday to check the baby's bowel (it has been enlarged at my last two level IIs).  Hopefully my baby will be healthy and we can start working towards birthing together without so much stress.  

I just had my 36 week apt. and am 100% thinned out but still closed.  Earlier today I thought I was leaking fluid but it turns out I am not. (Which is a good thing because I am not ready for baby to come!)  We don't have our carseat yet and my bags aren't packed!

I am thinking when I get home I should do some of that stuff.

Yay!  This is so exciting!!! Good luck and I hope you have fun trying to go into labor ;)

 No updates here (my last boy didn't want to come out even at 42 weeks!...eek!)...just wanted to say hi and g/l Kayla!  We are almost there....can't wait to 'meet' your little man!
