hmmm.. Honestly. Maybe. If there was truly no other option like dh xx sperm had some sort of disorder or something. Dh would of course have to be 100% ok with this. I wouldn't mind adopting someone else's child and I kinda see it as that for my dh.

No, because my DH would never be ok with it.  He is OK with adoption though (if we can ever make that work out). 

depends... before when I didn't have a dd I would if I was single for sure, if dh was on board yes I wouldn't hesitate, I wanted to adopt so what would be the difference with donated sperm... I wanted to raise a female child, not really my clone of me and dh... I had that in our sons already, some people don't ever get to experience that I felt lucky to already do that. 

I know I would 100% and he would too if it was a donated female embryo that was neither geneticlly his or mine. Wouldn't have even been a doubt of thinking there... I think the only problem my dh would have had (since we were going to adopt a daughter before I found out I was pg with her) would be that she would geneticly be half mine and not his?? maybe???

you would be surprised how to raise money for an adoption or what ways you could adopt. You should check out the adoption forum and I believe there use to be a link on the main page here or something to an awesome yahoo group called mother's wanting daughters... it is all women of sons who chose adoption to get their daughters. Adoption is the only 100% way to getting a daughter.(if you dont' want any chance of another boy that is.) Hightec increases your chances but it isn't 100%...even pgd doesn't guarentee you bring home a baby. Adoption may take time, and patience (it isn't for the weak of heart that is for sure) but if your are committed you will bring home a daughter. )or son if that is what you desire.

for me...absolutely not!! i wanted a son that would have characteristics and features of my hot DH we already have 2DD and another on the way so i wanted to see how OUR son would look. so, no...that wouldn't be for me
