I just had to post because I'm so proud. I'm sure you moms know all about how hard it is not to just always get a bunch of useless crap all the time for kids, especially for stocking stuffers and Easter baskets. Plus, my DD gets a ton of Easter stuff from the grandparents every year and TONS of candy and still even has candy left over from Halloween & Christmas, so she totally doesn't need another basket-full. She is girly in some ways - just as into Twilight and lipgloss and boys (not necessarily in that order) as any teen girl - but also has a really sporty side and participates in lots of sports and activities. So, we decided to fill her Easter basket with actually useful stuff around a cute girly pink theme - I think she'll love it!
Contents: Pink Peeps, Tennis Balls for the "Cure", pink striped slippers, Five Berry Sugarless Gum, Pink BPA-Free Ice-Core Sports Bottle; pink sporty-girl wrap stuff (you use it for t-shirts and sweatbands and hair ties & stuff), pink lipgloss and the only non-useful thing - a pink pig! She does have more stuffed animals than is humanly necessary, but I liked it because it's not strictly Easter-y and only $4 so I threw it in. What do you girls think?
Here to talk about mothering and more since I'm no longer TTC. I love to give support and advice!
