All is going well here! We had a t-ball game this morning, and we are cooking out tonight and then tomorrow we are leaving bright and early for St Louis to watch the Cardinals play!!! DH just put up the shelf and two wall hangings in Sawyers room and he just cut the ladder so we will hopefully get that up this week, then get the buckets painted and get those up as well! We also have an old firemans coat that was DH's grandpas and we want to put it in his room as well, but we want to wait and see how it all looks with the ladder--dont want it looking too crowded in there!
I had painted letters to spell out his name and I was not happy with how they turned out at all(which is disappointing) so I am going to wait and this fall there is a huge craft festival in Indiana, called the Covered Bridge Festival, and there is a man that paints names in whatever theme you want-large prints-and I will get a personalized one for Sawyer done in his Fire theme and also one for DD3. DD1 and DD2 already have one!
Picked up a cool cylinder type night light this weekend and we are going to cover it with the leftover fabric from Sawyer's bedding (still waiting on MIL to finish the blanket and bumper!) so it will match perfectly! AND Kelly (girls2mama) sent me a really cool photo of a restaurant where they used old fire helmets as hanging lights-so we are going to use DH's grandpa's old helmet and do this idea!
