Back Ache in Early Pregnancy

Ladies

 Im new to the site and am interested to find out if anyone has suffered from back pain (middle or lower back) in early pregnancy?? if so what did you have. I have had 2 girls,first time i just had back pain later on in pregnancy, second time it was pretty much straight away, i have been swaying for a boy and again i have been experiencing back pain very early but quite severe. Can anyone help??

How early is early?  I am 16 weeks and I have back pain alot.  I also get pain in my tailbone when I have to sit for long periods.  If it helps I think I am having a boy.  Not sure if this is a boy symptom or not though.  Good Luck!

I am only about 5 weeks and am in agony, its all mostly upper/middle back but very painful, even moving my arms around can be quite painful not quite sure why! just been reading on the net that its just ligamants softning!

 I had lower back pain with DS from around10-15 weeks. This time I had it from 11-12 weels and that's it. I am a lot more active this time around though and since I do pilates I think it may have helped it dissapate sooner. I always heard it was hormone related (like some woman getting during their period as well).

 I had lower back pain with ALL my boys in early pregnancy by 20wks with each of them I could barely walk.. then at around 22wks it would disappear..   Have not had it once with my little girl!!   its so weird...  I also had severe Hypermesis with the boys & only normal morning sickness this time.. 

I did not have back ache until right at the end with both DS....and only if I over did it!

This time Ive had back ache for last few weeks (Im 19 weeks), though I am carrying twins! Dont know what sex they are yet but feeling they are girls!

I had lower back pain early in pregnancy with my ds. With this pregnancy I too experienced lower back pain, but the Dr has told me that he thinks I am having a girl, but he is not 100% sure.

i had terrible back pain since day i concieved for maybe about three weeks, barely could walk, will update what i am having, or follow my posts, i will know december 10....

i have boy, did not experienced any back pain at all, just until i had to go to labor last minute...

 the pregn was very nice, had headache in 10 weeks, threw up only maybe two times, no m/s, and no complaints,

this time i have tones of complaints, since very early back pain, nausea, migraine... now iam 17 weeks, seems feeling ok.

 I suffered bad back pain in both my DD's pregnancy and my current one, DS.
