Also - the heart rate thing is the exact opposite of what I've always heard (even from Ob's)!  140 or lower ~ boy/ above 140 ~ girl.

I have to say I buy into the wedding ring one a little b/c it was right for both of my boys and many of my friends.  One night I got together with a bunch of girlfriends and we did this one and it was right for everyone.  I even did it to my mom just to see and it was also right for her.

I have a question on this (I haven't done the ring thing yet), but it sounds alot like the pencil test..  The pencil test was right for everyone that I know.  Wouldn't you think that it if the ring works, why not the pencil.  Not that I'd put all my faith into either, I know it's all in fun. 

Okee dokey...  I did the test, it went in a HUGE circle.  We'll see if it's right.

I just did the test and it went side to side.... we will see in September when bub is born if it is right.

This whole article is a bit odd. Not only do they have the heartbeat theory back to front....but everywhere else I've read the wedding ring test it says that circular motion is for a girl & pendulum (backwards & forwards) means boy. (looking good Shel...not too long to wait now....but I'm really feeling 'girl' for you!)

I tried the wedding ring thing....holding it over my own belly whilst I lay down (I've heard its better if someone else holds the string or hair) & it kind of did half turns so I guess that's not really one thing or the other! Gotta love the old wives tales!!
