Hello my dear April Mommies,

i am having a tough time.  Starting last night I am having these pains right in my groin like in my pelvis bone and they are shootig down my inner thigh.  AHHH!!!  I went online (I know stupid thing to do) and googled it and I really think it is Symphisis Pelvis Disorder which is a bunch of fancy words for "the baby is tearing the crap out of your ligaments and basically your pelvic bone is separarting."  I want to stick a shot full of morphine in my own butt!  Surprise  I am just wondering if anyone has had anything similar (this is #3 for me and never before thank god, my child would have been an only!)  and does the pain subside, because from what I read it will probably last until birth????  I can only legally take so much tylenol and we all know how well that works anyways!!! I have the dr. on monday....can they give me a new pelvic bone???Confused

Hoping your last month is going smoother than mine!!

Hi, this is baby 3 for me too and I've got really awful pelvic pain which I never had with the last two!!!! The other day I couldn't get out of bed because I couldn't lift my leg up! I'm only 31 and I feel like a right old crone :-) My Dr says it should go away after babe is born. To best honest I seem to have it for a week or so and then it gets better and then creeps back again. Just keep getting told to rest but with a 7 year old to take on the school run and a 2 year old wanting me to 'pretend to be a horse' its not likely I'll be getting any rest! xxx

Seriously Ladies, I was in so much pain i couldn't walk right and if I had to get up from a chair or from the bed it was unthinkable! I even took off work to rest but it didn't help. My midwife said oh it's just pregnancy pains it will go away, but at 30wks(at the time now I'm 34 wks) I wanted it to go away now. So I went to my Chiroprator who said  he sees this all the time in pregnant women and he fixed it! He adjusted my pelvis and pubic bone, instant relief! I feel like I am only 24 wks pregnant with the way I can move around! Please going to the chiropractor it will help you sooooo much. Happy Giggle

I seriously feel for you!!  I had it the last month or so with ds2 then ds3 it started around 16 wks!!  Didn't go away till birth.  This time it's off and on started just the past 2 wks or so.  Definitly let your dr know, because they should force you to spread your legs during labor.  Sorry I couldn't find anything to cure the pain.
