Hi everyone,

My husband and I just took the Pink or Blue test last week.  I was 10 weeks pregnant the time I took the test.  The results came back as a girl. We are both really excited, but want to wait to purchase anything for the baby until the resutls are confirmed by an ultrasound, especially after hearing how many of you either had inconclusive or inaccurate results.  Of those of you that did have the inaccurate results, were you able to get a refund?  If so, how?

 Thank you,

Rebecca P.

I got a refund at 30wks because I did a retest.   I was told boy first, had an ultrasound that said girl and did the retest.  I took my retest when I did my blood work and they filled the card in for me, came back girl and got a check in the mail 10 days later.

Just an FYI: another poster did an informal count of those results and came up with this

60% told boy had girl

82% told girl had boy

Now take that for what's it's worth, most of those babies are a year old now, so it is "older".  And many have not been counted in that.  My baby and some of the newer result babies too.

Good luck, I hope they got it right for you!!!!!!

Chloe, thank you for your response.  I'm just sitting tight and waiting now for the weeks to pass until I can have and ultrasound to confirm or deny the results of the Pink or Blue test.

Please tell me how accurate is TMPOB when result is girl. I am very scared to digest this results but hope that it will not be true. I had it at 10w3d and got results a day earlier than it should. Please post your experience with this test recently.I heard that had they had recently improved their testing methods. please post recent experiences. Choele, I read you post that 82%of girls results turned out to be boys...where did you read it? Anything to believe, I should not have taken this test, as that hope of 5% is really killing me to take any decision

I took this test at 12 wks...and it told me boy. I was very skeptical after reading all the posts on this site. But it was confirmed today by U/S that I am having a boy! I would also like to add that TMPOB was accurate for my sister in law (due in June - also having a boy) and two other family members. It has not let us down yet.... I think they have improved their tesing methods. I would recommend this test to anyone!

I took the test and got a GIRL response.  I had a sonogram at 13 weeks and 5 days and tech says BOY!  Of course I will confirm at my 19 week ultrasound, but I am not sure about this test accuracy?

Nuchal scan at 12 weeks said BOY.

TMPOB at 13 weeks said GIRL.

Intelligender at 17 weeks said BOY.

Scan at 18 weeks said BOY.

I'll keep you posted on my 20 weeks scan, but so far it seems that TMPOB isn't reliable at all

I took TMPOB test at 9w2d pregnant and it said girl. We already have a daughter and we are really hoping the test is wrong. I called them and her exact words to me were, "we're not right all the time and some women never show male DNA in their blood stream even right up to delivery". So, I'm holding out hope that the results are wrong. I wish I hadn't done the test, from reading others comments it seems the TMPOB test is not reliable. I'm having a u/s at 12 weeks and I'm hoping I'll get an idea of the sex then. I haven't had any sickness with this pregnancy so I felt like it was a boy until the TMPOB test gave me a girl result. I'll keep you posted.

Mine said girl to after 3 girls I am praying TMPOB is wrong! My ultrasound 16 weeks is tomorrow. I wouldn't have them ck gender at 12 weeks that's really early. With my 2nd pregnancy they told me boy at 13 1/2 weeks and she was a girl. Just don't want ya too to get your hopes up and then be let down. We didn't get a clear shot again til 27 weeks and finding out my boy was a girl was a little sad after 14 weeks of thinking she was a boy. But of course she is so precious to me !!

We just had our 16wk scan and the tech said Girl. So, it would appear that TMPOB was correct in predicting girl.
