I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!! And yes, give hubby a big high five as he deserves it...hee hee!!
side note - that is now 2/2 for friends having trouble conceiving #3 AND after a loss......maybe I'm next!?!?

Awe! Thank you for all of the congrats...I am over the moon, yet very nervous. All I know is that I don't want what happened with Josie to steal the joy of this pregnancy. I want nothing more than to enjoy it and pray for a healthy ending...a baby, screaming in my arms. I want the parts that were moving around inside of me....to move around outside even more. Why I am telling you now? Because I am not going to feel any more secure about this pregnancy at 4 weeks as I did at 41 with Josie......but mostly, I need prayers. Hugs to all of you from me!

We are all right here with you friend!! Through the morning sickness, the ultrasounds, the swollen feet, decorating, planning and especially the waiting!! I'm just over the bloody moon about this!! That was a very dark test too......$10 says it's twins! Just cause I'm a dork!!

It is pretty dark hey? Is that what it means when it is that dark soooo quick? OMG, I might even have to pee my pants you dork! :-P

Pandi - Did you do anything different like take fertility supplements or was it just good ol fashion BD? I of course can't pregnant on my own but I am so fascinated with this knowing you struggled with getting pregnant.

Michaela...my dh was taking supplements before we headed to HRC for our IVF cycle in August and just continued to take them after we got back. Dr. Potter put me on some medicines as since I had that cycle fail, he found that in my lab report that all of my eggs had vacuals in them which indicated that I was insulin reistant. I then started my meds to stabilize different hormones, and wouldn't you know it, was able to conceive again on my own. If I were to do it all again, I would have pushed my family doc to be more thorough with everything before going in for IVF as I truely think finding out that I am insulin resistant and dealing with it, has been what has made the difference. :) I believe your time is coming Michaela!

Oh that is great news!!! I am actually on Metformin as well and I will continue to be on it until I cycle. Well actually I have been on it since August but my main goal is to increase egg quality because I am assuming my PCOS will interfere with that. I am so excited to hear that the IR meds worked for you. That has just given me goose bumps!!!! Thanks again for giving me lots of hope. I really needed that!
